“Awe, Dusha Moya. I’m not going to stop. Just switching my angle a little,” he murmurs as he slides two fingers into me, and picks up his assault on my clit.

“Oh, fuck, Nico I’m so fucking close!” I shout just as the fire reaches its peak.

Nico looks up at me, and our eyes meet. “Cum Dusha Moya. Show me what I’ve been dreaming about.”

The fire engulfs me, rushing through me, lighting every nerve ending. I don’t know how long it lasts, or when Nico moves, but when I open my eyes he is looking down at me, slightly smirking.

“There is nothing more mesmerizing in this world than you when you come on my tongue. Are you ready for this, Aubrey?” Him using my first name brings me up short. Nico hasn’t used my first name since he rescued me from Rocco. “When I slide into you this time, you are mine. I won’t be slithering back into the shadows this time. It’s me and you until I take my last breath.”

“I wouldn’t ask for anything more than that. Just don’t hurt me this time.”

“That my, Dusha Moya, is a guarantee for today, tomorrow, and every day that comes after,” he whispers against my lips, just as he slides his long, hard cock into me.

“Fuck, baby, you are so fucking tight,” Nico declares, pulling out slowly before sliding his way back in with slow, even strokes.”

I reach up, pulling his head down, planting a hard kiss on his lips before pulling back. “Fuck me, Nico. I need you to fuck me.”

Nico drops his head into the crease of my neck, and picks up his pace, setting a punishing rhythm. I lift my legs up, wrapping them around his waist, keeping him close and causing him to plant his dick inside of me to the root, going deeper than ever before.

My mind is lost in a euphoric bliss that all I can manage to do is chant his name. I need this orgasm more than I need my next breath.

“I’m close, Dusha Moya. Cum with me. Come with me, right now,” Nico demands just as his release washes over him.

I scream as my climax flairs so hot that I know he can feel the warmth of it encasing him. We lay there for a few minutes, just breathing, before Nico rolls to his back, pulling me onto his chest and running his fingers up and down my spine in long strokes. He makes me feel so safe and warm with him by my side. Knowing that nothing in this world could ever take this from me has a relieved breath escaping my lungs.

Well, that’s what I thought, only the world around me had a different perception of how things should go.

Nico

The soundof breaking glass startles me awake from my peaceful slumber. My body stiffens, my head cants to the side as I listen to the world around me, searching for an intruder or any unforeseen threats. The sound of someone stepping on glass has me snapping, my body and mind on alert. I slowly slid out from underneath a sleeping Aubrey, slyly reaching for my Glock I stashed under the mattress before I left the other night. I didn't hear any further movements or sounds for a long moment. I slowly make my way towards the door, thankful that it was left wide open. A small creak in the floorboards lets me know that someone has broken in.

Aubrey stirs behind me. I stand there, praying that she won’t wake up until after I figure out exactly who it is and what's going on. A shadow falls blends with the dark hall as someone creeps their way toward the bedroom. Whoever it is doesn’t take another step before a second shadow falls over him, with a gun shoved into the back of the first intruder's head.

“I got him covered, he'll be here when you're ready,” one of the men who had been on guard, says.

“Give me five minutes.” Turning back to the bed, I pause for just a moment, taking in the beauty that is Aubrey. I’m not wanting to wake her, she needs her sleep, but we don’t have any other choice, we’re needing some answers so we can handle this threat and put an end to her danger.

I shake her slightly, whispering her name. Aubrey slowly opens her eyes, smiling up at me as her eyelids flutter open. When she notices the Glock clutched in my hand, her smile fades.

“What’s wrong? Did something happen?” The fear in her voice makes the monster I keep contained around her, the one who resides deep inside me, roar to life.

“Yes, something’s happened. I need you to get dressed and put some shoes on. I know you have questions, but right now, I need you to trust me and do as I ask. Do you understand?” I wait for her answer, needing her to know that she can trust me.

“Yes,” is all she says as she climbs out of bed, and starts to get dressed as I asked her to do.

As she dresses, I decide now’s a good time for me to do the same. Going over to her dresser, where I folded and stored my clothes from the night before, I grab them from the top of it, and hastily dress. Once we are both dressed, I tug Aubrey into a tight hug and kiss her hard on the mouth.

“Umm… wow, that was amazing, but why did that feel like goodbye?” Aubrey looks up at me with eyes laced with such sadness that I want to kick my own ass for causing her to suffer those emotions.

“Not goodbye. I have a feeling that whatever upset you last night is about to be revealed and resolved. I just needed to taste your lips one more time before you see the monster that I can be. I’m afraid you’ll make the decision that you can’t be a part of this life, exactly like you did last time. Nothing’s changed. I'm still the same man that I was back then, when this all started between us.” I’m being as honest as I can with her because I never want to be a person who dims her illustrious fire.

“You’re right. You haven’t changed, andnothingis different. I'm not dumb to who and what you are, Nico. What has changed… is me. I’ve grown and reshaped my way of thinking. The scared little girl who was afraid to disappoint her mother isn’t the same woman as I am now. I want this, you, and me, more than I could ever put into words.” She takes in a steading breath before picking her confession back up, “I’m not sure what’s going on, but there is nothing that is going to happen in the next few minutes, hours, or days, that will change my mind about what I want with you,” she says, standing on her toes and kissing me swiftly on the lips.

I want to believe and trust her. I know what the monster that is idling under the surface of my being is going to do when I make it out to that living room. Whoever is waiting for me will not walk out of this home alive and breathing. At the very best, whomever they are, they’ll make it out in small pieces. I will filet their skin, tenderize their body fat to feed the predators roaming the wilderness, and grind their bones into dust particles before tossing it in the river to dispose of.

“Let’s get this done. All I need you to do is tell me if you know this person, and if you do, what this person means to you. After that, I’m giving you the key to my place and sending you next door,” I mummer against her lips.

Aubrey pulls back with a raised brow and a small glare, probing, “Did you just say next door?”
