Kassein put down the soap, and tightened his arms around her.

“You have me,” he whispered back, intertwining his fingers with hers.

A few seconds passed, and he could still feel her relaxing, but neither of them felt ready to get out of the bath, or this little room where it was just the two of them. As the water cooled to lukewarm, Kassein put another kiss on her shoulder.

“I like it,” Alezya whispered.

“My lips?”

“Your lips,” she nodded. “On me. And... your hands.”

She grabbed his hands, pressing them against her belly and thigh.

“I like it,” she said. “And... I like your meat.”

Kassein froze, confused, before slightly moving to face her.

To his surprise, he found Alezya with a mischievous look in her eyes, biting her lower lip. With that blush on her cheeks, she looked younger than she’d ever looked before, and he raised a confused eyebrow.

“My meat?” he repeated.

After a hesitation, Alezya’s eyes unmistakably lowered, following the line from his torso to his submerged region. Kassein’s jaw dropped.

“Mymeat?” he repeated, this time with a smirk on.

Alezya blushed even more and looked away, finally acting a bit ashamed of her joke. He knew she had picked the word on purpose, and he laughed at her bashfulness, pulling her tightly back into his embrace.

“You like my meat,” he chuckled.

“Hush,” she tried to push him away. “I’m cold. No more.”

“No more meat?” he laughed, watching her step out of the bath.

“Kassein! No more!”

But he was still grinning when he left the bath, and they both wrapped themselves in bath towels. He didn’t let her run away when they left the bathroom, and instead circled an arm around her and gently guided her out and back to his room.

There, they found Nebora just stepping out, causing her to stop in her tracks, her eyes meeting Kassein’s. Again, he felt Alezya slightly stiffen against him, like she did in the presence of strangers, and he rubbed his thumb against her skin.

“Well,” Nebora said, putting a fist on her hip, “there’s one smile I haven’t seen in a long time.”

“Thank you for preparing the bed,” Kassein muttered, although his ears were burning.

“You’re very welcome, young man. Looks like that lady’s taking care of you, alright...”

She directed her smile at Alezya, and Kassein felt his lover take a slight step back, pushing herself a bit in his arms, but she recovered fast.

“Lumie?” she asked.

“Lorey’s bringing her soon, don’t worry. I’ll tell her. Unless you two need some more privacy?”

“No,” Kassein immediately replied. “Bring her.”

“Got it. Good night!”

Nebora left, and Kassein pressed a kiss on Alezya’s head before grabbing the fresh clothes. He had no doubt Alezya would want to spend the night with her child and get as much time as she could with her, and he was completely fine with it. He embraced it completely, and in fact, he was almost looking forward to their first night together, the three of them. Or four.

Once they were dressed, they sat on the bed. Not long after, Lorey walked in, carrying Lumie in her arms. She passed the little girl to a relieved Alezya before stepping out. As soon as she was with her mom, Lumie brightened up, climbing onto her mom’s lap and letting Alezya play around with her, tickle her, and leave loud kisses on her chubby cheeks.
