Her gaze shifted from the mountains to Kassein, who’d appeared between the trees.

Alezya smiled, always surprised at how quiet a man his size managed to be. Kein growled at its owner’s presence, but as usual, Kassein replied with a glare, and the dragon reluctantly walked away. Alezya kept her eyes on the orange dragon until she felt strong arms wrap around her, and Kassein’s lips found her temple. She smiled and turned around, lifting her hands to his nape.

His skin was warm, as usual, and covered by a thin layer of sweat.

“You fought again,” she noted.

“With Kiera,” he nodded.

His sister provoked him daily, and Alezya had a hard time discerning the times they were training from the times they were genuinely dueling and trying to harm the other. Their fights were nearly as violent as the ones they had against the attacking clans, and the strength difference between the siblings and other warriors was like comparing a mountain to a hill.

Now, she no longer worried when she heard the sounds of a fight and merely checked if it was her own clan, but it seemed her father had chosen to bide his time until her return.

Which reminded Alezya her time with Kassein was coming to an end soon.

“I missed you,” she whispered in her language.

Whether he’d understood or not didn’t matter; she went on her toes to bring her lips to his. It was a gentle, chaste kiss, but it wasn’t enough.

They exchanged a short, loving look before Kassein closed his eyes and went for more, taking her mouth with his, pressing his tongue against the seam of her lips. She let out a faint moan, and he kept pushing her for more, hugging her and moving her until her back pressed against a thick tree.

Alezya’s body was heating up fast under his burning touch, and soon, she felt overdressed, pushing Kassein’s cloak off his shoulder to touch his torso directly. His hands were caressing her nape and the curve of her back with a tenderness that didn’t match the passion of his kiss. He was holding back again.

Frustrated, Alezya replied to his kiss with even more hunger, running her fingers through his hair and pulling him toward her until there was no space left between their bodies, only clothes. She could feel Kassein’s body reacting, and she was desperately egging him on.

Emboldened by the prospect of their upcoming separation, Alezya drifted her lips from his mouth to his cheek, his jawline, his neck, his collarbone, down to his torso...

“No.”

It had almost been a growl.

Alezya hadn’t even realized he’d trapped her wrists in one hand until he pressed them against his chest, gentle but firm enough she couldn’t move them.

“Kassein,” she whined again.

He ignored her, his lips taking hers again to silence her before he drifted to her neck. His warm breath against her skin, his gentle nibbling and sucking, everything was making her feel hotter and hotter, almost dizzy.

When his hands moved under her coat, Alezya couldn’t suppress another moan, aching for his touch, for his warmth to touch her there, anywhere. She felt his fingers dig feverishly through the layers of fabric, opening her coat, lifting her dress, and pulling down her pants roughly.

Soon enough, his warm palm was brushing her thighs, making her gasp.

“Kass—”

His name didn’t make it past her lips as he kissed her again, almost forcefully.

And she liked it. Alezya whimpered in pleasure as his kiss got more fervent, more pressing, more... beastly. Kassein wanted her. He was kissing her like she was a never ending craving, like he wanted to devour her whole.

She craned her neck as he towered over her, pressing her against the tree while his hand pulled on the thin fabric covering her mound. He was barely leaving her room to breathe, let alone talk, and Alezya could hear her own moans filling the air alongside his growls. She could feel his fingers, those thick, calloused, hot fingers assessing how wet she was, playing with her folds. There was nowhere to run, no room to move, as his whole body covered her, the tree trunk pressed against her back.

Alezya cried out and jerked forward when, without warning, he pushed a finger inside. Balancing herself on her toes, she leaned her forehead on his shoulder, her breathing hoarse, his heat filling her from the inside.

“Kassein,” she whimpered. “Kassein...Please.”

He moved, rubbing inside, his thumb on her button, sending delicious sensations through her body and burning her from her stomach down. She felt his lips trail down her nape, nibbling her skin, spreading hot shivers down her spine.

She couldn’t tell when her coat had left her shoulders, only that her dress was exposing enough of her nape for Kassein to kiss and graze with his lips. She had a hand on his nape, the other on his bicep, but she couldn’t find the strength to do anything but hold on tight because his finger was driving her mad. He was stirring, rubbing, slicking in and out, and not giving her any rest. Alezya gasped against his shoulder, and next, she was crying out at the second finger spearing her.

And he moved again, not giving her a second to catch her breath, just filling her with shallow thrusts while she breathed hoarsely against his skin. She had no room to think, and she had no strength to resist when his free hand grabbed the hair at the base of her neck and pulled her gently to incline her head at the perfect angle for another kiss before his lips vanished.
