Colton remained quiet for a long minute, lost in thought more than the revelation of Isaac’s hookup. “You know the tape I mentioned?”

Isaac didn’t reply, merely stared and did his best to hide the curiosity brimming inside him.

“I was sort of occasionally messing around with William.” Colton grimaced. “Then that reporter caught us—which I didn’t know at the time.”

“Because you were busy getting head?” Isaac asked, flicking his lighter.

Colton coughed, clearly uncomfortable with the topic, not at the spark of Isaac’s cigarette. “They threatened to leak the video unless I gave them an exposé, and I was climbing the walls, freaking out over what to do.”

“I bet.” Isaac ground his teeth, wondering what kind of fucking person would make that threat.

“I didn’t know which would be worse for my family to see—an exposé or amateur porn.” Colton sulked. “Then there was the baseball team. Being queer seemed impossible back then—and it’s not easy now, but it’s bearable. But if the video had leaked? Yikes. They’d have cut me for sure.”

“Cheap pornos are embarrassing but not the end of the world.”

“I signed a morality clause,” Colton said. “Pretty sure fucking some dude’s face on camera violates that.”

“That sucks,” Isaac said. “Pun not intended but obviously hilarious.”

“Yeah,” Colton sighed. “Point is, it’s just awkward because Will freaked out about the video, and I told him I’d take care of it, which I did, but then it was such a whirlwind of news and reporters and social media and campus and the disciplinary board because of grades and baseball season and… Well, you kind of sort of know the rest.”

Isaac gave a stoic stare of acknowledgement.

“Then I ghosted him, which makes going to meetings awkward since he, like, runs them with you.”

“William doesn’t run shit,” Isaac scoffed. “And he was upset about the video?”

Colton nodded.

That was perplexing since Isaac knew William had dabbled in webcam fandom pages and never seemed shy about showing off in front of a camera or audience of any kind. Most importantly, William never shied away from divulging his many illustrious hookups. At least not with his inner circle of his five-hundredor so most trusted confidants. In other words, William had a big mouth in more ways than one. It was unlike him to at least not brag about a hottie hookup. He’d named dropped several closeted guys to the GSA team already. Surely, Colton wasn’t special. Isaac had a sinking suspicion and a building anger.

“Don’t worry about William,” Isaac said. He took a deep drag. “He’s no doubt focused on his next conquest.”

“Okay.”

“Attend the meetings,” Isaac said. “You fit in really well, and it seemed like you enjoyed it.”

“I did,” Colton blurted. “I do. In a casual, chill way.”

“Yeah, whatever. It’s good for you, good for the group,” Isaac said, tossing his smoke unfinished. “Just don’t chat me up too much during them. As far as everyone’s concerned, I still hate you.”

“Wait.” Colton cocked his head. “So does that mean you don’t actually hate me?”

“I don’t hate pumping a load in you, but that’s really about it.” Isaac stuffed his hands into his pockets and shrugged.

“Oh…okay.” Colton nodded with this arrogant glint in his eyes, like he hadn’t just been in a bathroom stall on his knees and choking on Isaac’s cock. “Anyway, I’m gonna grab lunch before practice if you wanted—”

“Good luck,” Isaac interjected, not wanting an invitation.

“With eating?” Colton made a face. An annoyingly cute face.

“With baseball stuff.” Isaac raised a hand in mock cheer enthusiasm. “Go, Munching Beavers rah-rah!”

“It’s Batting Beavers,” Colton said, correcting the most absurd mascot Clinton University could’ve chosen in Isaac’s mind. “And it’s just practice.”

“Well, whatever. Just hit balls or something. Swing your bat better than everyone else.”

“You don’t know a damn thing about baseball, do you?”
