She dropped her back before she started to make her ass clap against my pelvis. I had a foot on the chaise and a bend in my knee of the leg connected to the foot on the floor. I stared at the tattoo on the small of her back. I let out a light titter.Mega Time. This tattoo was the very reason that I didn’t want my wife drinking and doing edibles when she was with her little girl group that I called the Misfits. She always did some crazy stuff.

“Mega, right there. I’m about to cum, cum!” Ruth yelled louder than she should have. I was convinced that she wanted to traumatize our children or have them ask us why their mommy prayed so loud.

I reached around the front of her body, took her nipple between my fingers, and pinched. Her nut rushed out like a busted pipe. Her cum, cums always triggered mine. Her cum, cums were different from her regular cums. Whenever she said that she was about to cum, cum, that meant that it was her last one.

“Fuck, Ruth!”

I tried hard to stop cursing, and I didn’t curse nearly as much as I used to. I wouldn’t say that Big G gave me permission to curse. What I would say was that I was a cussing child of Big G. We would have that out when I got to judgment day.

I smacked Ruth’s ass after I pulled out. “Come on and take a shower with me so we can get ready.” Tonight, Ruth was spending time at Shan’s house since it was my church men’s group night.

Six months ago, Pastor Gilmore called me into his office. I thought I was about to be kicked out of another church. I had my expense report ready to email for reimbursement. Thank Big G that it wasn’t any of that.

Meeting With The Pastor. . .

“Brother Mega! How you doing today?” Pastor Gilmore dapped me up after I came into his office.

I smiled after I pulled back. “You know me, blessed, highly favored, and one of Big G’s favorites.” That’s who I was and would always claim to be.

“I believe that, too, Mega. There’s no one that I know who has that special light to attract a different demographic of people to God.” I heard the genuineness in his voice. “Let’s have a seat over here so we can talk.”

We walked over to his lounge area in his office. “What’s up, Pastor?”

His forearms leaned on his thighs as he bent forward in his seat. “Mega, brother, it has been a real blessing having you in our ministry. When I met you, I knew that you would be an impact that we needed here. There is so much work you do in this church by simply being here.”

His words caught me off guard because I didn’t expect them. Yeah, I knew Big G made me with His premium ingredients, but it wasn’t often that people recognized it. “Wow, thank you. That means a lot, man.”

“There is no thank you needed. To God be the glory. When I think of you, one verse comes to mind, Jeremiah 1:5. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations,” he spoke with conviction.“You, my brother, are set apart.”

Men often had a hard time uplifting each other and accepting the uplift. That was one thing that I loved about Echo Church. They allowed you to be who you are and let God work on you, but they also gave guidance to help you along. “It means a lot to be a part of a church that sees me in the eyes that God does. I’m not perfect, but I’m a man after God’s heart.”

“It is in that light that I wanted to ask you if you would be interested in leading a men’s group. I think that you’ll be able to reach people that perhaps others can’t, my brother.” His smile was wide.

My eyes bucked, and I sat forward in my seat. “Are you serious? My own men’s group? Wow! Yeah, I’m interested.”

“Good! So you can determine the parameters around your group and send them to me for approval. You also get to name the group.” Pastor Gilmore stood.

I didn’t need any time to think about the name. “Oh, I already have a name. Real Niggas Love The Lord.” I smiled. “That goes hard, doesn’t it?”

Pastor smiled. “That does go hard, but how about we make it more inclusive. What do you think of Real Men Love The Lord?”

I tilted my head. “Yeah, that works. I don’t want to alienate my brothers of different skin tones.” I stood to my feet. “Pastor, I won’t let you or Big G down.”

My group had been goingstrong for six months. It grew from four members to twelve. What made me the proudest was that my dudes Ned and Croy were in the group. Even Samuel was blessed to cook the food one day when he was here, and now he was a member. They all come to church every once in a while too.

Another blessing about the group was that when some of Ned’s workers heard he came to the group, a few of them started to attend. Out of the twelve, only one was white. He was the homie though.

“What did Samuel cook for you guys tonight?” Ruth asked as she got dressed. We’d finished our shower. Had sex again, then took another shower.

“I told him that I wanted football party food, so he made sliders, wings, pasta salad, and stuff like that.” I told Samuel that he didn’t have to cook, or I could pay him, but he refused. He said cooking for my meetings was his blessing to the group.

Ruth walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist. “That sounds good. I’m getting a plate before I leave. What are you going to talk about tonight?”

“I’m gonna focus on being a man after Big G’s heart. Breaking down that you can make mistakes, but grace is available as long as you’re willing to seek it and let Big G in, to help you be better,” I explained with my arms still wrapped around her. “It’s my main man David’s turn to be great tonight.”

Ruth gazed at me with a love that glowed in her eyes. “I am so proud of you and your walk with Big G. It’s not perfect, and in that imperfection, I see God’s perfection in you. One step at a time.”

“One step at a time, love.” I kissed her lips. “Remember, tomorrow I have a big brother, little sister date with Megan. She texted me some random letters earlier. When I didn’t respond, she called me. Apparently, those letters were her reminder to me.”
