But as he stopped and had Emily took the lead, exiting ahead, he turned and shot a mirth expression tugged on his lips and his pitch-dark hues angled in kindness and ushered himself out.
The breath I held in my lungs released.
Maybe he wasn’t so devilish and unholy, after all.

This was the third time he joined at the Rivers Foundations. He busted in and came like he owned the place—the nerve of him. But what got me shook was how they reacted, welcoming him with open arms and a good smack on the ass by wearing their ridiculous shorts and skirts barely leave to the imagination, and for him to drool like a sadistic animal thrown out from its cage.
Two things I knew about him. He’s loud and an early riser, a godawful combination.
Romano. I don’t think I ever talked to him before, not as much as sharing breathing space with him.
I know a lot of things about him. About his life, his likes and dislikes. Long before I met Eva, I transferred into Fort Heaven prior in four years ago, which now I’m proud and thankful of Dad’s precision in living a quiet life despite having a filthy rich status, I’ve gotten to know everyone’s names and date of birth, address, what their homes look like, inside and out, power storage and their weak spots, etc.
Blessing in disguise sure does come in handy. And it came in quick.
Trespassed the town hall to inspect and read everyone’s documents, including the dead and the sick, was exhilarating. Basically, unlatching and entering the premises. Trespassing, hacking and reading personal’s information inside the mayor’s personal faux-pa office was another thrill of mine. To lounge and sip, skimming over the pages over the stacked files was my greatest award, going through everyone’s medical recordswas an enticement, a worth looked into, like stealing one’s belongings and their knowledge now belonged to me, too.
A pressing advantage, a leverage for me to use against, it was enticing, ecstatic to experiment on.
But it was only the first part of exploration. The rest were locked; set in alarm if anyone tries to break in. Meeting with a sheriff and policemen was the last thing I needed.
Humiliation wasn’t my strong suit.
That was false.
On second thought—
Humiliation towards others was my strong suit, and I’m very good at doing it.
But thanks to resources serenading me, undressing their bodies for advancement, I had a full advantage to grasp my new wits and information regarding to a returning member mysteriously popping into Fort Heaven.
His full name: Romano Ramirez Salazar, born in October 31, 1985, born a Scorpio, as much as I don’t believe in astrology and Chinese zodiac signs, and is born from Rio, Brazil.
Typical did-you-know facts from a desperate womanizer.
First things first, those were the basics. But there’s more on the basic sections.
His favorite color:Blue.
His favorite food:Churrasco with black beans and steaming rice.
His favorite country:Spain and England.
His favorite music:Brazilian phonk—much it’s obvious and typical for a typical party “boy”.
His favorite past time:Going to clubs and drink several alcohol in the glass cup, mingling with folks he doesn’t know and tends to have 2,000 followers on social media, and he only has Instagram, nothing else.
His skills:speaking five languages, aside speaking in foreign tongue to various each time he bagged on them.
His fear or weaknesses:no answer to apply apparently, but he feared his mother. Coming from a family-oriented tradition, I got the impression he loved his mother more than his past girlfriends.
The choices on his past girlfriends were questionable.
One of them was seven years older than him. After the break up, he dated a twenty-one year old girl. Worst part was he had a son from his ex-wife.
