“Is this?” With eager movements he tore off the rest of the paper and lifted the frame with the art piece. “Oh, wow.” There was such reverence in his voice as he studied the picture.

“You said that you loved Jeppe Eisner and so I contacted him to make you this special piece.”

Noah wet his lips and stared at all the details of the beautiful painting where two goofy trolls were dancing with happy smiles in a forest while at least five dogs were looking on or dancing as well.

“It’s you and me.” Noah’s voice was emotional. “The trolls look like us.”

“I know.” My chest was full of admiration for the painter who had created this unique piece that would forever bring a smile to our faces. The craftsmanship was impeccable and even now as I saw it for the second time, new details sprung to life. “Look between the trees.”

Noah pointed. “You mean the fairies?”

“Yes.”

“It’s the most beautiful painting I’ve ever seen.” Noah put it down on the bed and turned to me. “Come here.”

Once again, we hugged as he thanked me.

“You have no idea how much I love your gift. It’s so personal and perfect.”

“I thought about giving you a puppy, but I know how important it is for you to pick out the right dog yourself.”

“The painting is perfect,” Noah repeated. “I had something made for you too.” He went over to his bag and brought out a small box. “It can’t beat the painting, but I hope you’ll like it.”

Inside was a beautiful set of jewelry with earrings, bracelet, and a necklace.

“Oh, it’s beautiful.” I picked up the pendant with the dusty-green stone inside a gorgeous design.

“It’s an ancient design from back when my ancestors invaded these lands. The tree you see is called Yggdrasil and is the tree of life.”

“I love it!”

“That’s a relief, because I didn’t dare buy you anything contemporary since I know nothing about fashion.”

I teared up a little bit because it was such a thoughtful gift. Noah had the money to buy me a huge diamond, but he’d chosen something that held meaning. Like Noah, these pieces of jewelry weren’t flashy, but they were timeless classics.

“I’ll cherish them always,” I declared.

We kissed and with a small growl, he bit my lower lip. “I can’t wait to get you out of that dress and consummate our wedding.”

“You’ll have to wait some more hours. It’s only eleven and we can’t leave the party yet.”

Noah used his large body to push me back against a desk in the room. “A few more minutes won’t make a difference.”

“You want to have sex now?” Arousal spread in my body.

“Yes. The last months I’ve thought about how beautiful you would be today in your wedding dress, but if I’m honest, I’ve also fantasized about fucking you while you’re still in it.”

“Fucking? I thought our wedding night would be about making love.”

Noah growled low again and lifted me up on the desk. He was pulling my dress up around my hips and when he got to the naked piece of skin between my pull-up nylons and my silk thong, he groaned with lust. “It will be, but right now, I just want to do what I’ve fantasized about.”

It struck me how far I’d come with Noah as I indulged in his aggressive sexuality. The ripping sound from my thong should upset me, but it made me pull him in for a passionate kiss while he positioned my butt on the edge of the desk and unzipped his own trousers.

Pushing his pants and briefs down, Noah expertly inserted himself inside me.

“Ahh,” I moaned as he clung to me, pressing his forehead against mine with his hand behind my neck.

“Did you take your pill today?”
