Mr. Nobody

Serena

The sound of the key card in the hotel door made me get up from the chair. I’d been here three hours already, counting the minutes until Nathan would arrive. It felt like the world was moving in slow motion when the door swung open, but finally, Nathan stood inside the grand hotel suite smiling at me.

That smile! It got me every time.

Grinning back at him like an infatuated teenage girl seeing her biggest crush, I ran straight into Nathan’s arms.

He made an “umph” sound when I knocked the air from his lungs and wrapped my arms around him.

I felt my feet lift from the ground as Nathan picked me up in a tight hug, and then he moved with me in his arms.

“I’ve visualized this moment ten thousand times.” Putting me down on the bed, he looked into my eyes. “Can we skip the small talk and go straight to the good part?”

I grinned wide, and like two people in a competition to see who could strip each other naked the fastest, we pulled off shirts, pants, and underwear in between kissing and exchanging heated gazes.

Nathan fished out a condom from his bag.

“You literally had that on the top.” I laughed.

“Uh-huh.” He was grabbing my waist and pulling me against him with a growl of sexual longing that made everything below my waistline tingle with anticipation.

We held nothing back as our bodies glued themselves together, and our lips and tongues communicated without words.

In Sweden, Nathan had been a patient lover who took his time to warm me up, but this time we were both boiling over with pent-up desire. I noticed how his hands were shaking with eagerness when he put on the condom. Getting on top of the bed, I reached out my hand for him to join me. The sight of Nathan’s well-proportioned, fit body in front of me made my mouth water and looking into his eyes I had chills running up and down my spine. I’d felt so close to losing this magnificent man and now I couldn’t wait another second for us to merge together in love.

When Nathan finally pushed inside me, I was soaking wet from hours of fantasizing about this moment. Finally being with him again made me moan out in ecstasy.

Intertwining our hands, Nathan moved all the way inside me and gave me a no-bullshit look. “You. Are. Mine!”

Hearing Nathan say those words made my belly do a flip. My brain was unable to find words strong enough to express the divine inner peace his declaration left me with. My body, however, spoke for me in a non-verbal language used between lovers for millennia. With a sound of complete surrender my head leaned back, exposing my throat as my legs wrapped around Nathan.

Lost in our magical bubble, Nathan and I stayed in our suite for eight hours straight. Making up for lost time, we were both insatiable, but eventually, Nathan suggested that we should venture out in the streets of New York.

“Now? It’s nine in the evening, and you told me not to book security for today. I’ve got them hired for tomorrow.”

“I’m not talking about going out to be spotted. If we use caps and hoodies, we could sneak out undetected. It’s New York, no one will care if we look weird.”

“I don’t know.”

Nathan stretched. “Are you afraid that I can’t protect you if someone tries to rob you?”

“No, but New York is a big place, and a crowd can gather quickly if someone spots us. I don’t want things to get out of hand.”

Lying on his side, Nathan was propped up on his elbow, using his free hand to caress my shoulder, arms, and back. “Hear me out. Let’s find a one-dollar pizza place and grab a few slices of good greasy New York pizza and something to drink. Then we’ll head over to a late stand-up comedy show and get a good laugh. What do you say?”

“I haven’t had pizza in months. Now you have me drooling.”

Nathan lit up. “Let’s go then!”

We dressed and took the elevator down to the reception area, where no one recognized us with our oversized hoodies pulled up high.

“So far so good,” I muttered as we strode outside hand in hand.

Nathan was playful and fun. He’d been to New York many times and gave a pop quiz on the buildings we passed. I was horrible at it.

“Two points to Ireland, zero points to team USA.”
