They did get out often and while it was still hard for his dad, he tried and his mom was so happy to be home, that it was impossible to be angry.
She had her reasons and Ryland couldn’t fault her for it. And neither could Rick.
They put it in the past and his parents were happier than ever. His mom even decided to help Aria at her store once a week to keep up with the people of the town and Aria loved it.
Tillie was a great person and Aria and her became fast friends.
Aria’s family also welcomed Tillie into their midst with open arms and Tillie and Gwen spoke at least once a week on the phone, if not more.
Ryland was grateful his family was back together and glad that his mom was here for the birth of their next child when it was his time.
Rick and Tillie often had the girls for sleepovers and Aria had grown close to his dad and mom and Ryland was close with her family.
Jet and Farren brought their girls often to visit and Ryland and Jet had become fast friends.
As well as he and Scout. Scout was a good man to his core and taught Ryland a few things about cars and how to fix things that he hadn’t known before.
Jet also helped in small ways and the three of them had fixed up a few old cars when the other men were here.
It was fun and Ryland liked that he could count on them. He also really liked Raegan’s man.
He was really unsure of him at first, but the man had grown on him and he was as protective of Raegan as Ryland was of Aria.
And Raegan’s man was kind to Aria and treated her like a sister, which Ryland also appreciated.
It was strange to him to look back on his life eleven years previous to this and be so lonely.
He never had to be lonely again and he could only thank Aria for that.
For her light and love. For the happiness she showed him and brought him daily.
He wouldn’t be the man he was without her and when she opened the door and walked inside, he noticed she hadn’t brought her crutches.
She was getting better and not needing them as often and she saw her physical therapist every week to keep her working toward that goal.
She was even more beautiful now than she had been when they first met and he didn’t know how every single day she was even more beautiful than the last.
She saw him and smiled and hurried to him, kissing him.
“I missed you today. It was a crazy day at work.”
He chuckled, “Tell me all about it. Later.”
Her eyebrows raised, “Oh?”
He nodded, “There are no kids around. I can make my wife scream as loud as she wants. I know this baby has made you horny.”
She nodded, “So bad.”
He lifted her into his arms and brought her to their room, pulling her shirt up and over her head as he walked and pulling the cups of her bra down to latch onto one of her hard nipples.
She moaned and when he laid her on the bed she shook her head and stood before him, stripping down to nothing.
He kissed her rounded belly and then she nodded at him, “Get naked baby. I want to see my sexy husband.”
He did as she asked and then she gestured for him to slide up the bed.
This was new for them. She didn’t have the strength to ride him like this for long, but she was determined to try and tonight he was in for a treat.
