And as soon as they had all graduated from college she and her three best friends, Ella, Winnie and Lola decided to use all their talents and start up their boutique.
One that showed that women of all shapes and sizes were beautiful.
It was called Curvy Beach Boutique.
They all had their own jobs for the business. Ella ran the business with her accounting degree.
She always kept them running smoothly and she was smart as a whip.
Winnie was their floor designer. She put everything in the right place to be sold and didn’t make their store look like they had too much or too little.
It was absolutely beautiful and welcoming. Winnie was amazing at it and Bria knew they couldn’t have anyone better.
Lola ran the customer service for them. She was at the register and took the complaints and the compliments.
She wasn’t always a people person until they started their business, but she came out of her shell and kicked ass at their customer service.
She was kind and understanding and when someone came in in a huff, Lola would soothe their feathers and by the time they left, they were smiling and happy.
Bria didn’t know how Lola had the patience, but she did.
And with her working behind the scenes, designing the clothes and sending her ideas and specs off to their manufacturer to be mass produced, it was fulfilling. She also loved tailoring the clothing the women bought.
She wanted them to have the perfect fit for their bodies. Whether it was for their chests, stomachs or legs.
Everyone deserved to have their clothes fit their bodies.
She also tailored everyone’s clothes that came into the boutique to fit them at no extra charge.
She knew how hard it was for girls to find clothes that fit perfectly.
How jeans from all over could be the same size in numbers, but not close to the same size in size.
She had seen it time and time again. And after wearing baggy clothes that hid her figure her entire life, she was good and done with that.
It was a hit so far and they had more business every day.
It was glorious. And everyone was happy with their lives there.
They were busy and Bria helped design many of the clothes that were on sale in their boutique. It took up any of the extra time she had.
She had her friends, but sometimes life got lonely and sometimes Bria wished that she could find herself a guy.
But, she knew most of the men in her town and she didn’t want to date a tourist.
They were in and out too fast and she wanted to get to know someone or have a connection with them first.
So far, no one had struck her fancy and she kept her head down and worked hard at the business.
She had enough to do that it would keep her busy for a long time and she wanted to make a name for herself.
So dating was put on the backburner.
Not that she had ever dated, but still.
Right now her focus was her boutique and getting it off the ground.
Hopefully making it into something amazing. Something that they all could be proud of.
