Epilogue
Rickie
It was the day after Christmas and it was their wedding day.
She fell more in love with Steele every single day. He made her life bliss.
He made love to her daily, sometimes twice. And each time they made love was different.
There were times that it was hot and fast, hard and deep, others were soft and slow, and each time was pretty much perfect.
She loved that he was so kind, so attentive and loved her. That he pushed back when she pushed away.
And now was the time. She had found the perfect dress and it fit her like a glove.
When she had gone to the bridal store she had no idea what kind of dress she wanted and yet, the first dress she saw practically screamed her name and it was the dress for her.
It was cream colored tulle, with delicate tulle pleats on the bodice that dipped into a ‘V’ and was tight on her chest and waist, and then flared out at her hips with the rest of the dress where the tulle that had a subtle English Rose print on it.
It was so beautiful and she felt like a Queen wearing it.
They decided to have a small ceremony at Raiden’s house and Kadence had been so wonderful to help plan it all and execute it perfectly.
There were lights all over the trees outside and the house since it after Christmas and Rickie wanted their ceremony to be held in front of the big fireplace, with the tree in the background.
And with a makeshift aisle made of white Christmas lights, it was beautiful.
Her dad had walked her down the aisle and everyone had come that was important to her.
When she made it to Steele’s side, he was grinning, and leaned in toward her and whispered, “You are absolutely stunning Bombshell. I couldn’t look away if I wanted to.”
She smiled and the priest spoke about love and devotion and then it was time for the vows.
Steele went first, “My Bombshell. You have completely captivated me from the very second I saw you. You have all of me. My heart, soul and body. I can’t wait to see what each new day brings with you in my life and I look forward to all of the twists and turns life will throw our way. And I know that we will make it through it all. I love you.”
She smiled, “Steele. My dream man. My protector and the love of my life. You have given me the courage to be myself. To see how beautiful I truly am. You bring out the best in me and I want to always do the same for you. I can’t wait to see what the future holds and I am happy that I get to experience it all with you. I love you.”
He kissed her as soon as she was done talking, as if he couldn’t wait a second to kiss her.
The priest pronounced them husband and wife and laughed as he said he didn’t need to ask them to kiss.
Steele pulled them down the aisle and at their reception, Rickie watched as his guys stayed pretty much in the same corner.
Not really talking to anyone except each other.
But Jet’s eyes were glued to a girl that was sitting with Harrison. She knew it was Harrison’s little sister Farren.
And with the way Jet tracked her movement, Rickie knew something was in the works.
It was so exciting.
And as she said in her vows, she couldn’t wait for what the future held.
