But her letter had affected him in such a way that he knew he would be attracted to her no matter what.

He pulled up to the house and was surprised at how inviting and happy it looked.

It was a farm style house with a large front porch that wrapped halfway around it and it was painted white on the top and had red brick.

He parked his truck and then he took a deep breath. He was a SEAL. He had gone on numerous, dangerous, life threatening missions and hadn’t been nervous.

But facing meeting the girl who held his heart and had no idea she did so? He was flat out terrified.

He took another deep breath, and then got out of his car.

He walked up to the door and knocked.

When it opened, he came face to face with the most stunning woman he had ever seen.

She had dark brown curls that fell to her shoulders, stunning blue eyes and the most mouth watering curves he had ever seen on a woman.

She was full and lush, and his cock stood at attention in his slacks.

Seeing her now, it all came flashing back to him that he'd seen her before and been too swept up in the robbery, the bank’s new tech and the proposal to really see her.

The girl he'd seen in his periphery and had dreamed of, but never knew why or where she came from.

He wanted to kick himself now. How could he have missed seeing this gorgeous angel? How did he not notice her sexy curves?

She looked up at him. Confusion filled the depths of her stunning eyes.

He would do everything to get her to forgive him for not noticing her when he should have.

Her lush mouth was moving, and he had to blink a few times to finally hear what she was saying.

“Steele? Are you okay? What are you doing here?”

He blinked again, “I came to meet you. To thank you for your letter.”

She went pink, “Oh, uh. Ha. I just had to let you know how much it meant to me. For you listening and protecting me and the bank. You kept us all calm.”

He smiled, loving her explanation, and her mouth dropped open, as if shocked to see his smile there, which he understood. As he wasn’t usually the type to smile much. And then she snapped it shut.

“It was my job.”

She nodded, “Well, it was greatly appreciated. Is that all you needed?”

He shook his head, “Not even close. I have been an idiot. And I need to apologize to you.”

“Okay…” she said and he smiled again, “I was so wrapped up in my failures and my job that I didn’t take the time to see what was right in front of me.”

“What are you talking about?”

He took her hand in his, “Rickie, I was an idiot. I should have seen you at the bank and should have noticed you after everything was over. I was so busy with everything that I didn’t see my woman right in front of me.”

She pulled her hand away, “Your woman?”

He nodded, and she looked up at him, her eyes wide, “You just met me. You know nothing about me.”

“I know what I need to. You're kind, beautiful, have the sexiest curves I have ever seen. You noticed things I didn't and helped me when others would have turned the other cheek. You love your brother and he loves you. And you are a hard worker.”

“You think I’m beautiful?”
