Steele nodded, “I didn’t want to wait six months to let her know that I love her, I already told her that. I don’t want to wait to ask her. I’m not getting any younger and don’t want to give her a chance to find someone better than me.”

Norma put her hand on his, “If she doesn’t think you are her perfect guy, she doesn’t deserve you. I have a feeling it isn’t the case. And we will help in any way you need.”

Steele smiled, “Thanks. Alright, enough about me, what’s on the agenda for the day?”

Norma hurried from the room and came back in, a sheet of paper in her hands, “You are needed to finish up the rest of the bank job. To make sure the new tech is good and to show them how to use it. You also have a meeting with a potential new investor and a phone call with a new client.”

Steele nodded, “Jet, you and Scout finish up the bank. Get them squared away and used to using their tech. Also, you need to put in their heads the importance of listening to any tip that is given to them about any suspicious or odd behavior in or around the bank.”

Jet and Scout nodded and then walked from his office and were gone in minutes.

He turned to Crew, “I want you here to speak with the new investor. You are a nicer man than I am and can get them to see the importance of our job.”

Crew nodded and left, and he was left with Norma. “How much time do I have before I have to speak with the new client?”

Norma checked her watch, “Two hours. I have some paperwork for you to sign off on first.”

Steele nodded, “Let’s get this done. I am leaving early to spend time with my girl.”

She smiled and they got to work.
