She knew how happy they were going to be and she loved that Eryka had accepted everything much quicker than she had.
In fact, she had barely questioned Brander at all. Just went with it.

Two years later
The week before Christmas
“My Queen?” He called out when he went back home for lunch.
“In here, I sat on the floor and couldn't get back up.”
He bit back a smile, knowing that Brenya was having a harder time with this pregnancy than she did with their twins.
Those boys were mischievous and he loved every single second of being their father.
Kjell -pronounced K-ell.- and Soren were in their room, and when he quickly checked on them, they were asleep.
He went to his and Brenya’s room and she was on the floor, folding clothes.
She often forgot that he could do magic and he must have forgotten to fold them this morning.
He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the door jam.
“Do you need help, my Queen?”
She smiled over at him, “I sat down to fold these, and your little girl is sitting on my sciatica nerve. It doesn’t feel good.”
He laughed and went to help her up and she stood, ready to deliver their little girl any day now.
She let out a grunt and laughed, “Someone is excited to hear that her father is home.”
He smiled and put his hand on her stomach, loving that she was such a good mother.
He leaned down and kissed her belly softly, “Be kind to your mother little one. You will be here soon.”
She kicked again and Brenya smiled, “She loves your voice.”
He kissed her lips, “The boys are sleeping, can I help you with something while you have a bit?”
She bit her lip and nodded, “I want to get this girl out. I know she is supposed to come any day, but I want her here. It’s our anniversary tomorrow and it would feel right having her here with us.”
