Jensynn nodded, “It’s my job and I’m just glad it all worked out. I had no idea that having Nick and I both gone at the same time would throw the Pole into chaos.”
Brander laughed, “Probably because you have never left the Pole before.”
Jensynn smiled, “You are right. I hadn’t. But I think it will be a normal thing now. Brenya’s family lives in the town and her grandma is an elf. I had no idea.”
Brander’s eyebrows raised, “Really?”
Jensynn nodded, “I don’t know her grandma’s name, but it’s possible we met her family already.”
Brander smiled, “Good. It will be good for you to have more family.”
