Chapter 17

Mila

When Reid got out of the hospital again a lot of things happened in a rushed sequence.

Karalee and Kian got married that next week and she was so happy for them.

True to the doctor’s word, Reid didn’t need surgery and had finished with his physical therapy with flying colors.

She finally got to tell him about her dress in the hospital and Reid’s eyes had gone hot and he had wanted nothing more than to claim her, but she wouldn’t give into him in the hospital.

But the minute they got home; she gave him exactly what they both wanted.

It was hard and fast, but she had pushed him on the bed, and had stripped her clothes off first, and then had helped him out of his.

She had climbed into his lap and he had thrust deep inside her, making her cry out and as she rode him, he let out grunt after grunt.

And then they both climaxed, hard.

She had fallen asleep in his arms and when they woke up, they planned their wedding and asked Grace and Brent if they once again would open their home.

Grace lived up to her name, gracious as always and when it came time for their wedding day, Mila was on cloud nine.

It had been a busy two weeks and they had had Kian and Karalee’s wedding and then her parents helped them buy a house.

It was an old Victorian house that she had always loved, and her dad has been working on it to fix it up.

He had for months, wanting to just flip it and sell it, but had sold it to them.

She loved it. And Reid had made love to her in their bedroom upstairs.

It was perfect and she knew that they would raise their family there.

And now it was their day.

The leaves had changed, and she had picked the colors in her bouquet that matched.

She had orange lilies, peach colored roses, sunflowers and some white baby’s breath.

There was also some long greenery that went well with the flowers.

Her hair was down, curled and loose around her shoulders with strategic pieces pinned up here and there, and she had bought some small cream-colored wedges to wear with her dress.

When it was time, the backyard had been decked out with the white lights, and she had the aisle filled with orange leaves leading to the altar.

Her backdrop had the orange lilies and the sunflowers in the branches and it looked beautiful.

When her dad knocked on the door and let her know it was time, her mom had given her her old garter that was both borrowed, and blue.

She had her Nana Beth’s diamond pins in her hair that Nana had worn, and Malena had worn at their weddings and her something new was her dress.

Kaylee had been in Silver Springs for over a week now and Mila had spent all of her extra time with her.

She was the sweetest girl ever and had become close with her and Mila knew why Reid loved her.

Mila loved that Kaylee was so involved in their lives and Mila hoped that Kaylee would always be.
