“Well, that wasn’t something I was expecting. Who knew that I would find my girl in this town?”
Mila snorted, “That happens around here. It started earlier this year. This town does that to people. Good luck. She is sweet, and yet also super sassy.”
Nikolai rubbed his hands together, “I am looking forward to this.”
Mila pointed at him, much like Kenzie had, “Be warned though, my parents will not like her moving to Chicago. It’s too far away. Her family and whole life is here.”
Nikolai nodded, “I do not mind moving my base of operations here. Since the man that has been plaguing the city is now behind bars, I am not worried about it now.”
Mila nodded, “Good.”
Nikolai grinned again when Kenzie came back in with Reid’s meds, and then within moments, he was floating on a cloud and fast asleep with Mila at his side.
