Then she walked upstairs, and Mila helped Reid get to his room.
She helped him take off the sling and his shirt, and then put the other sling on, and she gave him the pills and a glass of water.
She turned to leave after getting him situated and he stopped her.
“Don’t go. Not yet. Please?”
She nodded, “Alright.”
She took off her shoes and laid down next to him and he put his hand on her as good as he could.
And she fell asleep next to him without any hesitation whatsoever.
