Trace laughed out loud again and felt his cheeks go warm but loved it.
Trace: Only for you Sunshine.
Sunshine: Definitely swooning. Yep total package. Are you for real?
Trace: I think so. Did my kisses this morning feel real?
Sunshine: Oh yeah.
Trace: There you go. I assure you I am real. And been waiting for you.
Sunshine: Okay. You sir are amazing. I want more kisses!
Trace: Your wish can come true.
Sunshine: I know. I have to get my grandma soon, but later?
Trace: I guarantee it. Be safe picking her up and if you need anything let me know
Sunshine: Will do.
He put his phone away and sat back smiling. He couldn’t wait for tonight.
Going back to his paperwork, he wanted to finish everything before doing some rounds around town.
It would kill some time and that was what he needed.
He looked down at the notes he had written down about Emery’s stalker and cataloged them all.
Making mental notes of everything he did to harm Emery in some way. Of the things he did to scare her.
It wasn’t acceptable ever. And damn it, he would find this guy.
He would meet with Reid and Kian when they got here and make a plan.
He would also tell Brek. Having people on your side when faced with something like this was important.
He went over everything once more and delved into his paperwork.
Needing to get his mind off Emery for a few minutes but knowing it wouldn’t work.
