I kiss her hungrily, the taste of her and her saliva making me harden all over again.

I shift to brace my shoulders against the headboard. “Get on top of me.”

She pants, moving instantly to obey.

“Good girl," I moan as she guides me inside her.

I thrust my hips up instinctively, and she braces her hands on my chest, holding on for dear life.

I thrust up beneath her, giving her all I have, and she cries out my name over and over as she comes all over me.

I choke out a moan when I reach my peak, and Olivia collapses, exhausted after our escapades.

I swiftly head to the bathroom to get a cool, wet cloth, and I come back to wipe her down, kissing her before I swipe the washcloth across her skin.

As she cuddles against me in bed, I’m grateful to her for being my family.

 Chapter Forty-Six

 SEBASTIAN

I could have slippedinto the bottle when Olivia went ghost. God knows I did plenty of searching for answers in the bottom of beer bottles when Sophie passed.

But instead, I focus on work, funneling money from my investments into Carter Holdings. I’m slowly rebuilding their capital without Olivia having a clue.

I thought about telling Dominic my plan, getting him and Damien in on it, but this is something I want to do for Olivia on my own.

It’s not like I’m trying to score points. It’s more I want to be the one to take care of her.

And maybe that’s wrong, and maybe Sophie is floating around somewhere pissed at me, but I can’t think like that. I have to keep going. I have to move forward. I have a family to think about.

And one important move to keep that family civil is talking to my best friend.

Richard had left me a voicemail a couple of days ago, just checking in, so I call him back.

 “Sebastian? Thought you went ghost.”

“Nothing like that. Just work stuff. What’s up?”

 “Olivia’s pregnant.”

 I freeze.

 Apparently Olivia’s dropped the bomb.

Does he know it might be mine?

“Oh, shit.” It’s all I can think of to say.

“Oh, shit, indeed,” Richard drawls. “Wanna come over and talk about it?”

 “Sure. I’ll be right over.”

He clearly doesn’t know that I might be the father. If he did, he’d be screaming his head off, maybe showing up at my place.

God, how am I going to do this?

My palms sweat as I pull up to the mansion.
