But even as I say it, I think I’m wrong.

Olivia is so sweet, has such a big heart. She has a lot of love to give.

Who am I to hold her back?

“I think she will.” Sebastian stands up. “How are you feeling, Damien?”

He changes the subject like there’s nothing further to discuss, but my head is spinning.

Olivia. With all of us.

Is that so bad? What do we do, play rock paper scissors to figure out time with her?

I guess the particulars don’t matter.

We have to talk to her. We have to tell her how we feel.

“We need to talk to her separately,” I point out, and Damien and Sebastian both look at me, surprised.

Sebastian’s eyes are wide. “You’re actually going to go for this?”

“I love her. I’d do anything for her.” It’s the truth.

“Then you’re right. We need to talk to her separately, figure out what we each want. And then...”

“Together,” Damien answers.

All three of us are somehow on the same page, after months of jealousy and competition.

How can that be possible?

I need a drink.

“I need a drink,” Sebastian mutters, and I stare at him like he’s read my mind.

“No drinks for me. I’ve got an IV full of fun stuff.” Damien shakes the dripping line attached to his arm.

I laugh. I turn toward Sebastian. “You want to go for a beer?”

“My place. I’m gettingdrunk.”

I nod. “I second that.”

It’s not the first time I’ve gone out drinking with Sebastian, but it seems different when I arrive at his place an hour later, more friendly.

Sebastian opens his penthouse door, and I really pay attention to the opulent apartment, mouth open.

“How much did this place cost?”

“Twelve million.”

I choke on air. “I need that drink now.”

He chuckles. “You act like you don’t have money.”

I shrug. “I live out of a suitcase, honestly. I just have never been one of those homebodies. I’m a rolling stone.”

“Oh yeah? How does that work with you and Olivia? She’s a real homebody.”
