“You shared the other night,” Damien points out.
“That’s different.”
I tilt my head. “Is it?”
“Sex is one thing,” Dominic says firmly. “Love is another. You two don’t know her like I do. You can’t love her like I do.”
“Maybe she wants to be loved by all of us.”
I hold up my hands. “Hey, I didn’t say anything about love.”
“Mhmm,” Damien murmurs, and I don’t like the look on his face.
“Mhmm what?”
He doesn’t answer, so I shove his shoulder.
He just takes it, even though he’s bigger than me and could probably throw me through the windshield.
“I’m just saying, this whole sugar daddy, fix me thing isn’t going to work long-term.”
I bark out a laugh. “I didn’t ask her to fix me.”
“Didn’t you?” It’s Dominic that speaks up, and I huff out a breath.
It’s tense and quiet suddenly in the car, until a notification pops up on Damien’s phone.
“Someone’s using the keycode.”
Dominic piles out of the car before I can blink, and Damien follows him.
I scramble out of the car, shutting the door gently, and bring up the rear.
Heels click on pavement, and a woman is on her way to the hall of records.
Dominic calls out, and she freezes before sprinting toward the parking lot.
I can’t see if they catch her, but when I finally catch up to the two younger men, they’re panting and looking around.
“She’s gone,” Dominic says, and then curses and kicks a rock across the parking lot.
“No, this is good,” I wheeze, wishing I’d gone to the gym at least once this week. Bless my high metabolism. “We know the leak is a woman.”
Damien nods. “It’s information, anyway. We need to talk to Olivia.”
I look down at my watch. “It’s nearly midnight.”
Dominic scoffs. “My girl is a night owl.”
Ours. Until this baby is born, she’s our girl.
But I don’t say it, not wanting a fight.
Dominic Hayes has something else coming if he thinks I’m going to quit with my tail between my legs, though.
Olivia Carter is something special. Something rare and precious I never thought I’d find again.
“Pay attention, old man,” Dominic snaps, and I blink.
