“You scared me,” she stated once steady.
“Relax, Sweetheart. I’d never let you fall. Can you reach it?”
She let go of one of his hands and reached toward the frisbee. He had to take another step forward, and she had to lift off his shoulders some, but she could grab it. He put her down, and she turned to him, handing him the frisbee.
“What were you going to do if I’d wiggled around and fallen?”
Elion gripped her chin. “I told you I wasn’t going to let that happen.” His eyes studied hers briefly, and then he shook his head. “I apologize. You don’t like heights.”
“It’s not like you’re twenty feet tall. It was just sudden. A little warning next time.”
He ran his knuckle along her cheek. “Of course, baby. Should we keep playing?”
“Yes, for a bit. Then we can find some lunch.”
They returned to playing their game, and after another ten minutes, the wind took it again. This time towards the water. He grabbed it before it could be taken out to sea, and the two went to the spout outside to rinse the sand from their feet. He put a shirt on, and Olani decided she would go in the kimono that covered her bathing suit since it wasn’t see-through. They slipped their shoes on and were out the door.
They made the walk to the area they’d gone to the day they arrived hand in hand. This time, they were trying a different stand. There were a few to choose from, and they decided on a stand selling yaroas. She ordered hers with pork, and Elion ordered his with chicken. They both got fresh coconut water, and once they had their food, they walked back to the hut instead of finding a table nearby.
Once back at the hut, they sat on the couch, and he turned the television on. They’d started a show together on their second night there and decided to watch two episodes daily. That way, it wouldn’t take too much from their plans, but they’d also be ableto finish it together before the trip ended, since there were only ten episodes.
They were a few minutes into the show when Olani asked if she could try Elion’s yaroas. She’d had the dish a couple of times, but only ever with pork. His tasted good, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned, but she’d still choose the pork. She offered him some of hers, and he told her to remind him they needed to return so he could get that one before they left.
The show’s next episode started when they had finished eating, and he wrapped his arm around her. She leaned into his side, laying her head on his shoulder and getting comfortable. They were going to see a show on the beach that night after dinner. He hadn’t told her what it was, but she was excited to see it.
Elion walked hand in hand with Olani as they approached the beach show. The number of people did not surprise him. Music played while dancers performed, and an enormous bonfire illuminated the area. They could get close to the front of the crowd watching, and he pulled her to stand in front of him. She leaned back into his chest, and he placed his hands on her waist.
They watched the dancers through two songs, and at some point, she began to sway against him, and he moved with her.
When the dancers finished their performance, a fire twirler stepped to the center, and Elion took a couple of steps back, moving Olani from in front of him to beside him. He knew the performer was a professional, but he wasn’t willing to take any risks. He’d been to a fire twirler show where they’d lost control ofthe baton, and it went flying into the crowd, burning two people in the audience.
She leaned into his side as they watched with the other people in attendance. Several tosses of the baton caused some in the crowd to gasp and then clap when it was caught. After a couple of minutes, another two batons were lit, and the performer juggled them.
They watched several other performances for over an hour and a half before it wound down. It was just after ten, and they walked down the beach back the way they’d come.
“The artist you chose to share your exhibit with. What paintings do you think they’ll create?” Olani asked as they strolled along.
“I’m not sure, baby. I told them the theme of my exhibit, but I made it clear they weren’t required to center on that.”
“I can’t wait to see it.”
When they’d ended up at his house after one of their dates, he’d been more occupied with making her cum as many times as possible. On top of that, he didn’t show anyone his exhibit pieces until the day they were setting it up. Clara would get a glimpse now and then, but overall, the pieces were a surprise to everyone but himself. The fact that she couldn’t wait to see it told Elion that she planned on them still being together when the exhibit took place.
“Do you think there’s somewhere we can get dessert?” Olani asked as they approached the street to get a taxi.
They’d bypassed dessert at the restaurant since they didn’t want to be late for the show, and he’d noticed from their past dates that she always liked to have something sweet after dinner.
“We can check, Sweetheart,” he responded as he flagged a taxi. He opened the door and allowed her to slide in first.
He asked the driver to take them to the best late-night place they could get dessert from, and they were on their way. Twentyminutes later, they pulled up in front of a cafe. There were a few cars parked out front, and they headed inside. The smell of delicious sweets greeted them, and they walked to the counter.
“Hello, how can I help you?” the man at the counter greeted.
“Do you know what you want, baby?” Elion asked.
Olani nodded. “Can I have a piece of your caramel flan and a vanilla latte?”
“Of course, and for you, sir?” the associate asked.
