“Sixty thousand,” Erin challenged. “He’d have more fun with me.”
“Seventy thousand,” Chayse countered. “But he’s coming home with me.”
“Eighty thousand,” Alijah spoke. “Are you sure about that?”
“Don’t fight; there’s enough of me to go around,” Nik told them. The smile on his face was cocky as the crowd laughed.
“One hundred thousand,” Lawrence stated. “If you let me have Nik, you can have Remy,” he offered Chayse. Though they all already knew who they were bidding on.
“I hadn’t thought of that,” Chayse responded, tapping her chin as if she were thinking. A show for the crowd. “Deal.”
“Wait,” Erin cut in. “What if I want Remy?”
The clearing of the auctioneer’s throat cut off any response she would have gotten. “One hundred thousand going once, twice, sold.”
“Mm…looks like I’m getting a new experience,” Nik joked before leaving the stage.
Remy was next, and the bidding went back and forth a couple of minutes before Erin placed the final bid.
“One hundred thousand,” she called out. “I’m trying to see why Lawrence is so whipped,” she joked.
“You think you can handle that?” Remy teasingly asked.
“I like challenges,” Erin responded. A few chuckles filled the room as the auctioneer pronounced him sold.
Cruz stepped onto the stage next, and Erin couldn’t help but lick her lips. Her man was fine, and she would never get tired of taking him in, never get tired of knowing that he belonged to her, that they did.
“Let’s start the bidding. Do I hear—”
“Twenty-five thousand,” Chayse stated, kicking off the bidding.
“Oh,” Erin replied. “Okay, that’s how it is. Thirty-five thousand.”
“Fifty thousand,” Lawrence bid.
“You already have Nik,” Erin reminded.
“And you have Remy,” Lawrence countered. “I might like to try two out.”
“You won’t be doing that tonight,” Alijah responded. “Sixty thousand.”
“Seventy-five,” Chayse countered.
“Seventy-five, do I hear eighty?”
“Eighty-five,” Erin answered, a smirk on her face.
“One hundred thousand,” Alijah countered, an innocent smile on hers.
“Going once, going twice. Sold,” the auctioneer responded.
Erin realized that after Nik, the rest of the audience only threw in a bid or two. These were quickly overshadowed by one of the bids their group made.
Kieran was next on the stage, and when the auctioneer finished reading his bio, they looked right at the four of them. “Do I hear ten thousand?”
“Twenty thousand,” Chayse answered. “I remember you saying something about sister wives last year. I might enjoy brother husbands,” she added.
“It’s fantastic,” Erin assured her while Kieran chuckled.
