“It is getting late,” Paetyn agreed. “We should go.”

All three women laughed as their men swept them toward the door, barely acknowledging goodbyes from others as they did. Erin had already planned on doing other things. Cruz would be leaving tomorrow afternoon, and she wanted to send him off right.

29

Two weeks had passed since Cruz left, and Erin knew that she would miss him. She hadn’t expected it to get worse the longer he was gone. She attributed it to having only spoken to him twice since he’d left. The time difference was working against them, and it was hard to find a time when neither of them would be working that didn’t require one to wake up in the early hours of the morning and the other to stay up.

She had no problem doing either, especially since her workday didn’t start until ten. However, she wouldn’t be selfish and ask him to do so continuously. He was the only one there setting everything up, and she didn’t want him tired or making mistakes because he’d been up with her.

Paetyn did an excellent job of occupying her when she wasn’t working, but when she was, her mind would wander to what Cruz was doing, and that pit in her stomach would make itself known. That pit was a mixture of her missing him and guilt.

“What is it, Angel?” Paetyn asked from the other end of the couch, where he massaged her feet.

Erin had been at their house more days in the past three weeks than she’d been at her apartment and had made a conscious effort to come home after work, but she’d quickly found herself calling Paetyn and asking if he wanted to come over to have dinner with her and watch a movie.

She smiled at him. “It’s nothing.” The raised brow she received let her know that he didn’t believe her. Erin contemplated telling him for only a few seconds before she sighed. “I feel guilty and like a bad girlfriend.”

Paetyn furrowed his brow at her. “Why do you feel like that?”

“Because I miss Cruz.”

“Okay?” His tone let her know he was still confused about why she thought that.

“I shouldn’t miss him as much as I do with you right here. It isn’t fair to you.”

“Come here,” he requested, and Erin moved to sit on his lap. “I fully expect you to miss him. It would be odd if you didn’t.”

“I know, but—”

“Are you telling me you won’t miss me when I leave next week?”

“Of course I will.”

“Then I don’t see the problem,” Paetyn stated. Erin nodded, and he gripped her chin. “And the next time you call yourself a bad girlfriend, I will spank you.”

Her pussy clenched at his words, and it was on the tip of her tongue to do it again just to see if he would. However, before she could say anything, his lips were on hers, leading her in a slow kiss. He chose the best ways to take her mind off things.

Erin shifted to straddle him, hands on his shoulders as she followed the kiss, allowing his tongue to lure and dictate the movements of hers. She unconsciously rocked her hips, and he squeezed her ass before pulling away from the kiss.

“Stay with me tonight,” she requested.

She’d been in his space so much that she was unsure if he’d want to, but it wasn’t as if she hadn’t warned them that she could get a bit clingy, and having to be without one of them warranted her current need, in her opinion.

“Of course, Angel.” He pecked her lips. “Let’s finish the movie.”

Finishing the movie was not on Erin’s list of things to do, but there was no harm when he’d agreed to stay with her, and she could get what she wanted when they got into bed. She retook her original seat as Paetyn picked up his phone from the table, and she slid her feet back into his lap.

Erin lay on the bed later that night, eyes closed, in nothing but her birthday suit as she waited for Paetyn to get out of the shower. She intended to entice him into dicking her down. Though she’d learned all she had to do was tell either of her men she wanted some, and they would take care of her.

“Such a pretty sight,” Paetyn stated, exiting the bathroom.

“It always is.”

Erin’s eyes snapped open at Cruz’s voice, and she looked at Paetyn. She found him holding his phone. She sat up, smiling at the screen.

“Hi, baby,” she greeted as Paetyn passed the phone to her.

“Hey, Maly. I’ve missed you.”
