Gray just moved faster, touching him, hand sliding around to rest low on his belly.

Heat flooded his nerves, and he bit out a wild cry, begging Gray for more.

“That’s it, babe. So hard.” Those fingers grazed his cock.

That tiny touch was everything, lightning shooting up his spine, and he gave it up, his orgasm hard, almost painful in its ferocity.

“Uhn!” Gray shouted, then rutted into him for a long moment, back and forth, before spasming inside him, giving it up just as much as he had.

They slumped together on the sheets, both of them panting hard.

“Damn, baby.” Gray patted his hip, just clumsy as anything.

“Uhn…” That was the best he had.

Gray laughed, rolling to one side for a moment, maybe to get rid of the condom? Then he was back, holding Ben tight.

“You said yes. You’re coming home.”

“I am.” Gray just squeezed him. “I can’t believe it.”

“I’m over the moon. I can’t wait.” Ben was still stunned that Gray said yes.

“Can we take a load of stuff today? I mean, I know we need to talk to Liv, but little things she won’t notice too much, right?” Gray pulled back to look at him. “I understand if that’s too weird for her.” Uncertainty began to creep into Gray’s expression. That would never do.

“We can take a load. Liv loves you. She asked me when I was going to let you move in. She wanted to make sure you were coming to be ‘home by Christmas’.”

“Oh.” Gray beamed. “Seriously? God, I adore her. She stole my heart when she walked into my bakery and demanded I show her how to make a Yule log.” Gray paused. “Does Fran live with you? Will we need to discuss it with her?”

“Fran’s house is in town. She has her own room, for when she spends the night. God, you haven’t seen all the house yet!”

“You’ve seen everything here but the inside of the fridge,” Gray teased. “You’re right, though. I see a tour in my future.”

“Just remember, it was built with having lots of children in mind.” Six bedrooms, seven baths, formal dining, and finished basement—the house wasn’t particularly fancy, but it was big.

“Yeah?” Gray rubbed his neck, soothing him maybe. The man was really attuned to his mood. “Were you going to adopt or have a surrogate?”

“He wanted a surrogate. I want kids. I’m a good dad. I think I’m a good dad. I want to be a good dad, a good husband.”

“I think you’re an amazing dad.” Gray chuckled, nuzzling his neck. “You deserve more kids.”

“Thank you. Seriously. That means a lot.” He stroked Gray’s back. “I went to my lawyer this morning. That’s why I was in town.”

“You did?” Gray frowned a little. “What about?”

“The business. I want to sell. I want out from under it. I’m not a mover and shaker. I’m a dad that likes to cook and do the books, help out in a bakery sometimes.”

Gray’s jaw dropped, but it was dawning joy he saw in those eyes along with the surprise. “No kidding? Baby! That’s amazing. I’m so damn proud.”

“Yeah? I just…I’m ready, and she says I can make enough from the sale to do anything I want to.” Anything. Like invest in a bakery.

“That rocks. Hell, you could invest and live off interest, huh?” Gray kissed the corner of his mouth. “You’ve just been so unhappy.”

“I have, and it took being happy again to show me that.”

“Well, if I had anything to do with that, I’m glad.” Gray kept touching him, just featherlight. “Alice is always telling me how much happier I am right now. That I lose my shit way less.”

“It’s time. I have better things to do. I have a lover, a daughter, a life.”
