“No one,” I reiterated.

I expected the triplets to say something, but they nodded their agreement. They talked amongst themselves as I turned around to my side, trying to calm my uneasiness.

Doc left the room as I drifted off to a sleep that wasn’t restful at all. I could still hear commotion and some talking. Someone left the room when I heard Boogie.

“What do you mean she doesn’t want to see us?”

I closed my eyes tighter wishing he wouldn’t make a scene. Boogie had to know where this was going, this is what I had promised, but a stupid part of me still yearned for him… for King. I wanted them to fight for me, even if that was a stupid idea.

“Winchester, I will fuck you up, if you don’t move,” he yelled. “Oh, fuck you, all she has to do is listen.”

“Boogie.”

I sat up as relief hit me. King was alive. My lip trembled as a wave of tears slid down my cheeks as I got out of bed, my legs shook as I tried to stand. I grabbed the IV line, using it to help me to the door.

“No!” Boogie snarled. “Ally, opened this damn door.”

He knocked on the door as I got to it.

“Boogie, I told you she needs space.” King's voice was muffled as I laid my hand on the door.

“She’s had an hour,” Boogie snapped.

“You know that's not what I meant,” King said, sounding exhausted.

“Ally, Little One, please open this door,” he said, banging on the door.

“Boogie, step back,” Ruger said calmly. “King’s right, give her space.”

“Space for what?” Boogie snarled.

“You locked her in a fucking room,” Ruger snarled. “You think she’s already forgiven you? You treated her like every other man whose ever been in her life. You really expect her to forget what you did to her? Think, man!”

I had never heard Ruger lose his temper, much less at Boogie.

“You really think she wants men who won’t treat her as an equal?” Ruger snapped. “If you think she’s just going to roll over and be ok with that, then you really are delusional, Boogie.”

It warmed my heart that Ruger was defending me against his boss.

“She’s your partner, not an object, Boogie,” Maverick said. “You took away her freedom and I think you're lucky she decided to come back for you.”

“I was protecting her,” Boogie snarled. “I wanted her safe and?—”

“Shut up, Boogie!” King yelled. “We fucked up and you know it.”

“Ally, Little One.” Boogie pounded on the door. “Please, Little One, open the door and we can talk. I did this to protect you. I know you're mad, but I thought I would rather you be alive and mad at me than dead.”

I leaned my forehead against the door, biting my lip to keep from crying out loud.

“Little One, please,” he said, his voice breaking. “I just wanted you safe.”

He pounded on the door.

“Ally, please,” he whispered. “Don’t shut us out. Don’t end us.”

“No, you did that,” I said against the door, before walking away from him pounding on the door.

I climbed back into bed wishing my heart didn’t want them so much.
