“You’re so fucking tight, Tay,” he says through gritted teeth.
He grabs my hips to hold me still and shallowly pumps into me. I dig my knees into the couch and rest my hands over his chest. I slam down on him, and he responds by powering upwards. His teeth are clenched, and I feel the bite of his fingers on my ass, pushing me downward with each thrust forward. Inside of me, his cock pulses. And then his fingers find my clit, teasing it until I go off like a rocket, shaking so hard I can barely stay atop him. He begins driving into me, over and over, until he’s a shaky mess beneath me. He collapses onto the couch, taking me with him. Tremors are running through my entire body.
I feel his chest vibrating, and I lean away to see him laughing.
“What is it?” I ask curiously.
“We didn’t even take off our clothes.”
I smile when I notice that he’s right. then I grin because I’m always happy to see him smile.
He stands up, taking me with him.
“Come on, we should hopefully lose the clothes by the end of round three,” he says with a wink before carrying me into my bedroom.
Soon we forget the entire world and are lost in ourselves, and it becomes a night neither of us will soon forget.
*****
“What the fuck!” someone shouts.
My eyes fly open, and I rush to cover my naked body. My eyes widen when I look to the foot of my bed and see none other than my elder brother. And he looks livid.
Shit, I had planned to make Maverick leave last night, but we fell asleep, and I hadn’t gotten around to it.
“Adam….” Mav says, his voice low and gravelly from sleep.
“This is who you’ve been sleeping with? You’re fucking my sister? What the hell, Maverick!” he yells.
“Bro, I need you to calm down,” Mav says, standing up. He’s only in his boxers.
“No, don’t tell me shit. You’re an asshole. You know that, right. You’re taking advantage of the fact that she’s heartbroken and sleeping with her. You didn’t even like each other, and now the both of you are fucking. I thought our moms were talking crazy, but now I see that they were right.”
“Adam, listen to me.”
I see the minute Adam’s entire body visibly tightens. Maverick shouldn’t have been standing so close to him. It’s easy for my brother to pull his arm back and slam his fist into Maverick’s face. I scream because that was totally uncalled for and unexpected.
They’ve known each other since birth, and I’ve never seen my brother get so physical. Maverick staggers back. Adam casts one more scathing look at the both of us before walking out.
I immediately grab a dress and put it on before quickly examining Maverick’s face. His cheek is swelling, but I’m glad Adam didn’t do much worse.
“That was weird,” he mutters.
“What?” I ask.
“Adam has never been that angry in his life. Something else is going on.”
“How can you be so sure?” I ask him, and he smiles.
“Because I’m his best friend,” he says simply.
His answer makes my heart ache. My brother is his best friend, but what am I? The girl he’s casually sleeping with until he goes back to the Navy? I hate this, I hate that Adam overreacted, and I hate that I have no idea how to define our relationship.
“Tay, I have to go,” he tells me, standing up.
“No, I need to treat that bruise,” I say.
“Taylor, I can assure you, I’ve been through much worse than this.”
