Grimm crossed his arms over his chest. “If I hadn’t seen the evidence for myself, I’d believe you. But J.D. and I’ve discussed the repercussions of Fergus’s actions. And I agree with J.D. For what he’s done, it’s a death vote.”

Colin eyes widened. “You can’t be serious? You want to kill your own father?”

I looked at Grimm he nodded giving me the floor. “I know you idolize my father, Colin. You always have. But you don’t know him like I do.”

“You haven’t been around in fucking years,” he sneered. “What do you know about him??”

I sighed. “I know enough. And what he’s done is fucking unforgivable.”

He huffed. “Dad will never allow this.”

“Angus already gave the okay,” Grimm said.

Colin’s eyes widen and he jumped to his feet. “You’ll never get a yes vote from me.”

“I don’t need your vote, little cousin.” I took a step forward. “I came to Grimm because he’s my blood and out of courtesy. Not because I had to. What’s done to one chapter of Demons United is done to all. And this was done to my family. This was done to Demon’s blood. We get our justice one way or the other.”

His eyes narrowed at me, a storm brewing behind them, before he stormed out of the room. I turned to Grimm, and his head shook in disapproval.

“I see he hasn’t changed much,” I said.

“Still a pain in my ass,” he said, wiping his hand over his face.

“A sanctioned death of a brother requires everyone,” another Sinner said.

“Don’t worry about Colin,” Grimm said. “When the time to vote comes, he’ll vote for it, just like the rest of you. There’s no way Fergus is innocent, but I’ll make sure you guys know it beyond a reasonable doubt.”

“And how are you going to do that?” one of the Sinner’s asked.

“Because he’s going to confess what he did in front of you,” Grimm said.

“So can you tell us what happened?” the same brother asked.

“He killed my pregnant wife and son,” I said without hesitation. “The younger sister of the founder of Demons United.”

The man’s eyes got as wide as saucers. “Fuck! You can’t be serious. Are you serious?”

“I’ve got evidence which I’m sure Grimm will give every one of you access to including video. Fergus MacDaniel, my father had my family killed.”

“I know Fergus is an asshole Grimm,” one of the Sinners said, “but do you really think he’d do this? I can’t see him doing this to his own kid.”

“I didn’t either,” Grimm said. “But the evidence says otherwise. No matter who it is, I don’t like people fucking with my family. J.D. is family. His wife and kid are family.”

Even though I cut Grimm out of my life, I didn’t believe he would have had anything to do with this. Family was family no matter how screwed up we were. That was why he still dealt with Angus no matter how he felt about his father. That was still why he had a relationship with my father no matter how rocky that relationship was. It was still why he entertained his dumbass brother. Blood was blood and even though he had never met Dani and Luca, they were family to him.

“So that’s where shit stands now,” Grimm said. “If you know where Fergus is I need to know now.”

“You ask Weasel?” one of the Sinners asked. “He would know.”

Me and Grimm looked at each other because we knew from the video and the information I had got from the crooked as cop that Weasel was the one who had slipped him the money.

“I’ll find him.” Grimm said. “If any of you hear from Fergus, let me know. That’s it. Aries, Joker, you two stay.”

Two men exchanged nods as the rest of the men filed out of the room. Whether they sanctioned my father’s death, Grimm knew it would happen, anyway. I understood the formality. It was what we did as presidents of our clubs, but Grimm knew I wouldn’t let my father get away with this no matter what his club voted. And he also wouldn’t go to war for something he knew my father had done.

“Joker, I need you to find Weasel and take him to the chamber,” Grimm said.

The man wasted no time and swiftly exited the room.
