"Natalia, I know your reputation. You were one of your father's most trusted and reliable soldiers. You don't fuck with people you don't know. Who hired that motherfucker?!"

"All I know is he's not from this country. I promise I don't know anything else!"

"How do you know he's from another country?" I take a step closer to her.

"Because I overheard Adrian talking to his V.P. and he called himthe foreigner. I don't know anything else."

"Who pulled the trigger?" I take a step back and grip my machete while pacing in front of her.

"One of Adrian's soldiers." She lowers her head in pain.

"I'm getting impatient with you! Give me a name, Natalia."

"Donovan," she whispers.

I start pacing in front of her again. "What are Adrian's plans?"

"I don't know," she whispers.

I stop in front of her once more. "I believe you, Natalia." I hear her gasp in relief. "But I cannot let you live."

Before she can protest, I lift my machete, not giving her time to plead for her life, and bring it down across the side of her neck, killing her on contact. Stepping back, I take a cloth that Dinka throws to me, and I wipe the blood off the blade and throw the towel on the floor.

"Dinka, find out all you can about this Adrian the German, his club, and whoever the fuck he does business with. Make sure you get rid of her and burn this shit to the ground! After you’re done, meet me at the hospital.”

I turn my attention my mpwa and Razor and rush them out of the building. “Someone has some balls and is using this club to move in on my nephew's territory. I need to sit down with you, Razor, to find out about their enemies because the war was declared as soon as my nephew was shot, and I plan on killing all the motherfuckers involved.”

I laymy head on the edge of the bed and intertwine my hand with his. At this point, I've lost track of the days and have no idea how long he has been asleep.

I still haven't told anybody about the pregnancy. I want him to be the first to hear the good news. The sound of my phone alerting me to a message brings me out of my thoughts. Grabbing it from the bedside table, I look at the message from my uncle letting me know that it's done concerning Natalia, and he will discuss everything when he gets here. Breathing a sigh of relief, I look over to Austin as tears form in my eyes.

"Come on, baby, you got to wake up. We all miss you...I miss you." I squeeze his hand, and I feel a slight movement. As my eyes widen from shock, I look down at our hands to see if I can see movement, but I see nothing. Sighing, I lay my head back down on top of our hands as I feel movement again. Standing up, I run my hands through his hair. My tears land on his face and his eyes flutter.

I lean towards his ear and whisper, "I'm back, sweetie. I love you."

I place a soft kiss on his lips and feel a twitch. Pulling back, I look and once again. I see his eyes slightly flutter.

A smile comes across my face. “That's it, baby. Come on and open your eyes."

I run my hands through his hair. His lips slightly open, and his eyes open and close quickly because of the bright lights in the room. I walk quickly over to the blinds, close them and dim the lights in the room. Crying, I pour a cup of water and set it on the bedside table when I hear him speak.

"Ki...Kira...Kira," he croaks out.

I grab the cup of water and give him sip. "Hey baby." I smile and give him a peck on the lips.

"You...You're really here...I thought I was dreaming," Austin whispers sadly, barely getting his words out.

"No baby, I've been here the whole time." I start to cry remembering the call I got from Razor letting me know Austin had gotten shot.

His eyes become glassy. "I could hear you talking, but I knew you left me, so I thought it was all a dream."

"No baby, I have been here every day hoping and praying you would wake up. I'm here to stay."

He wipes the tears from my cheeks. I lean into his touch. "Don't cry, sweetheart. You know I can't take you crying."
