As an early riser, rarely had I ever had a day where I slept past four in the morning, which was why I was currently gazing at a sleeping Vincenzo after our amazing night together. With his arm tossed across my hip, I snuggled up as close to his massive frame as I could, inhaling his scent and basking in the afterglow.

This was the real Vincenzo, and I couldn’t pull my eyes away from him. He was such a beautiful man. His normally perfect hair was tousled, a piece dangling over his face which rose each time he blew out a breath. His pouty lips were relaxed, not in their normal grimace. All his features had softened. He looked so peaceful while he slept, like an angel.

We’d shared a magnificent, unforgettable night together. A night I would never forget and had only dreamed about. Although he’d warned me, repeatedly, that he wasn’t the dating or even the romantic type, I knew something had shifted between us. While Vincenzo kept his feelings carefully guarded, the dynamics had shifted quickly between us. He’d made this unusual engagement special for me, which was both surprising and appreciated. It told me he’d listened to what I’d desired and wanted me to experience the exhilaration other brides felt during this time.

It had been a while since I’d been with anyone, and no one had ever satisfied me the way he had. We’d thoroughly christened both the hot tub and the pool last night in celebration of our engagement. And now, as he slept, I basked in the delicious ache between my thighs, knowing I was the one who’d brought him some sort of peace. I was grateful he looked as though he didn’t have a care in the world right now, which was unusual for Vincenzo—healwaysseemed to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. It made me even more appreciative for this time with him because I got to see the real him, which I knew he shared with no one except Angelo.

I pushed the stray hair from his face, my fingers grazing his bronzed skin. I smiled when he released a sigh of contentment. This was the Vincenzo I knew I would have no problem falling in love with. I brushed a kiss against his forehead and removed his arm from my hip, careful not to wake him before sliding out of bed.

Pulling on my silk robe, I made my way out to the balcony overlooking the moonlit ocean. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever believe I’d be where I was right now—in Belize with my fiancé.

Fiancé. It sounds so weird to think.

I sat down on the plush lounge chair and pulled my feet under me to enjoy the sights, sounds, and warm ocean breeze of Belize. This place was almost magical, from its clear waters, white sandy beaches, and its wildlife filling the void of the early morning hours. While I knew I could only enjoy it for a few more days before reality set in, I enjoyed the peace and time with Vincenzo while I could.

“What are you doing out of bed?” Vincenzo asked. I laid my head against his arm, and he gripped my shoulders, giving them a gentle squeeze. “It’s four in the morning.”

“I’m an early riser.” I raised my head to look at him over my shoulder. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to wake you.”

“You didn’t wake me. I wanted to wrap you in my arms, but the bed was empty.” He sat down in the lounge chair beside me. “Come here.”

I stood, and he grasped my hand.

I went willingly when he pulled me onto his lap. “I love this place.” I wrapped my arm around his shoulder, placing a palm against his bare chest before resting my head against his shoulder. “I wish we could stay here forever.”

“I wish we could too.” He kissed my forehead while languidly running his hand up and down my thigh, causing my skin to tingle as we looked out at the serene view. “I can’t tell you how many times I’ve visited this place, sat in this very seat, but never took the time to really look at its beauty.”

“When you work constantly, you really never take the time to look at the world around you. Well, at least that’s what my father says.” I ran my fingers through his thick hair, loving the silkiness against my skin. “I constantly work. I work so much, not only because I love what I do, but I also have no one to share my life with other than Cheryl. So, helping others fills the void and keeps me from being so lonely. It’s almost like I need someone to need me...if that makes any sense.”

“You meant to say you didn’t have anyone to share your life with. Now you have me. I’m all in with this, Bella, and I need you just as much as you need me.”

His confession was music to my ears. To know he was as willing to open his heart to me as I was to him was a godsend. I could see myself falling deeply in love with Vincenzo if given the chance. There was a connection between us I couldn’t wait to explore.

“And now you have me,” I replied, straddling his hips, and burying my hands in his thick raven hair. I pulled his head back slightly so I could look into his eyes. His pupils dilated, only a sliver of gray noticeable around the edges of his irises, and my pulse quickened, sending a wonderful shiver through me. “Are you ready?”

“I’m ready for whatever you want to give me, Bella,” he said, his thick fingers digging into the flesh of my ass.

“Whatever I want?”

I moaned when he licked the hollow of my neck, before his tongue caressed my swollen nipples.

“Yes, whatever you want,” he whispered, his hot breath caressing my skin.

His answer was what I’d craved since finding out what my future would be with him. I wanted his love and affection. While he hadn’t voiced it, he’d told me exactly what I’d needed to hear. He would give me whatever I wanted, and what I wanted was his love. I wanted everything Vincenzo had, including his heart.

I eased my robe from by body, fully baring myself, including my soul, to my future husband. His stare was bold and unapologetic, one filled with lust and want, which sent a jolt racing through my heart.

“I want your heart, Zo.” I placed my palm over his heart. “I want your love.”

His large hands took my face and gently held it. There was so much emotion swirling in Vincenzo’s eyes, it caused my heart to thunder against my chest. “Then that’s what you will have, Bella. You have all of me. Everything you desire, it’s all yours.”

With his words, tears pooled in my eyes, and I sunk down on his hard length, content to remain in his arms forever. We both inhaled sharply at the contact. His grip on my hips tightened as he gently rocked me back and forth, his breath warm and moist against my face.

“Damn, you feel so good,” he mumbled, tracing the fullness of my lips with his tongue. “I want this forever.”

I couldn’t say anything; my senses were so overwhelmed by the moment. His mouth covered mine hungrily, sending spirals of ecstasy through me. He explored the recesses of my mouth, and I gave myself freely to the passion between us. My breasts tingled against the hair on his chest, and his tormented groan was like music to my ears.
