This is like the whole Lambrit conversation all over again but worse.
I’ve pretty much chalked my life up to fantasizing about them in private since I’m tied to all four of them and they own my damn soul.
It’s not like I can have or want all four of them, but who am I kidding here? No godly man is going to want me and have to share my attention with the four men I live with and am tied to by decree of the Beginning Gods.
That’s also if I continue to hide the bit about my soul.
Yeah, we know our situation is different, but in the eyes of the Godsden, we’re a normal, completed Valtrue. There are standards we’re supposed to follow.
It’s basically written law. Your Valtrue comes first. Everything you do, you’re supposed to do together.
After what Yemi said, there’s no doubt in my mind, Collum just asked me out purely because Seismet paid attention to me. He likes that and wants my attention because of that. Not because of who I am.
I couldn’t see myself forming any true, meaningful relationships regardless of what the guys say.
Might as well find out for shits and giggles, though.
“Fine. Are you going to stand witness to this embarrassment?”
“Absolutely not. I’m not getting in the crossfire. You just let me know how it goes.”
With a mischievous chuckle, she shoves my back to get me moving and I pull my shoulders back as I walk to Amick’s door.
“Well, that was quicker than I—”
“How do you all feel about me dating?”
Amick

“None of you have anything useful to do today?”
My brothers continue their conversations as though they didn’t hear me. One by one, they’ve flocked in here and I’m confident it’s not because they desire my company.
Creed appeared first, followed by Riven. Kyzen came bounding in shortly after with a smile plastered to his face. The other two grew excited until they realized he was alone.
It’s my little anomaly they’re waiting for.
It’s baffling.
When it comes to how my brothers respond to Thayla, that’s an answer that continues to escape me.
Creed finally acknowledges me by taking a step closer to my desk. I don’t bother directing my attention to him. Unlike them, I can work and listen at the same time.
“We’re going to be useful. We’re here to help you, help Thayla with her power.”
“Your help isn’t necessary.”
“Is that because you like dominating all her time?” Riven asks as he attempts to sit in her chair, but Kyzen has the propermind to stop him.
“No.”
“Well, then what is it? I didn’t clear my schedule to sit here and look at your beautiful matching faces.”
“Your face is nearly identical to ours. The four of us together will fluster her not help her.”
“I enjoy her being flustered.”
