If you open your portal and don’t have a location in mind, the fabric of time will lead you out of their main portal on the other side. Where that is within the other realms is in the knowledge you’ve received today as well as written here for you to read.
Well, my little dragonfly…that’s the end of my lesson.
I really want to drag this out and start telling you everything you already know, just so it doesn’t have to end. But you have things to do.
There’s only one more to go now.
I’m…I don’t know how to feel.
Excited to share some truths with you but nervous as there’re two different versions of my words you may receive.
As I write this, I’m still unaware of what Elementra has planned for us after that lesson. Here in the beyond, she’s not as strict with her timing of telling me things, but she still doesn’t cough up all the information I ask for.
Ridiculous really.
It’s as though she believes I’d spill all the secrets to you…
Anyways…
Until next time, filia mea.
I love you,
Momma xoxo
I come back to reality with both excitement and sadness lingering within me. Each time I open this book and learn something new, I feelinvincible because of her. Then like just now, it ends and marks one more lesson off our list.
Just like with CC coming to me when he’s needed, I never want her words to erase or stop coming. I want her to come to me always as I need her.
“You will always have a piece of us, filia mea,”CC says softly.
“I hope so…I want some answers from you.”
“I know you do, and I will give them to you, but I can’t give them all this moment. There are individuals who are still alive and well that were affected by the request I made for your mother’s travels. They deserve those answers as well.”The tinge of sadness in his voice halts my next question.
Thinking of the three realms my mom traveled, Essemist Keep immediately stood out to me. Keeper deserves whatever answers I may find. It’s the unknown of what I will have to tell him that worries me the most.
“I agree. What can you tell me, though?”
“I asked your mother to go to the Valorian Veil and retrieve the Angel Aura Amethyst for me. Which she did. The color of the stone reminded her of her Willowrrie flower. When I arrived at her house to get the stone from her, she said and I quote, ‘I absolutely love this color, it reminds me of my Willowrrie flower. Oh, that reminds me, I forgot to tell you, that’s what I’m naming my daughter. Willow.’ Just like that. That night my vision of our awakening happened. And with no knowledge whatsoever of what she was doing, your mother changed my life.”
“I remember you mentioning that vision in the memory of you telling her she was pregnant with Lyker. You said in the fifty years between you knowing and telling her the truth, you’d seen her three times and never mentioned it. But the Valorian Veil trip happened before that,”I say, prying a little for what those three meetings were about.
“That’s correct. Although technically I did see her more than three times. But when I gave her instructions on what to do, I visited her through her dreams. Those moments were short-lived and to the point. I got to have actual conversations with her the other times when I went to her in person. Two of those requests were to the other realms, Essemist Keep and Mystara Hollow. Thethird was a visit to someone in Elementra,”he says and leaves it at that, so I decide not to push anymore.
“So what does Gaster know about the Angel Aura Amethyst? How does he think it got here?”
“Well…”
“You’re gonna be in trouble, huh?” I ask teasingly.
“There isn’t much he can do now but get mad at me, so to put it bluntly and quickly, I lied to him. I told him I found it in the same cave I found the Memoria Stone in, and it called to me, so I brought it here. He never questioned me but rather told me, ‘Well done. Amazing find, my boy.’”
“Definitely going to be in trouble then when I tell him the truth.”I chuckle as does he. Gaster won’t really be mad, but I do find it hilarious when he scolds CC.
“I’m sure you do find humor in that, filia mea…I won’t distract you any longer. What V needs to teach you is very important. This ability wasn’t as easily available to me. I had to be resourceful and use a lot of power each time I managed to make my gift cross realms. So listen to him and don’t fret. You need to do this. We’ll talk soon, my girl.”
His presence fades slowly like a lingering hug and an impulse of pride trickles through my chest. I’m less nervous about the whole opening a portal in my mind now that I’ve heard from my mom and him. It further solidifies that it doesn’t matter how old I am or the methods in which I get to have a relationship with them. I need them.
