He increases his tempo, finding the perfect rhythm to get me off. My orgasm hits me so hard I feel like I can barely breath. All I can do is gasp his name as I come.

He kisses up my body, pulling my dress up all the way to slip it off over my head. He unclips my bra and tosses it on the ground with the rest of my clothing.

“I fucking love you, Nat.” He kisses over my breasts, chest, and neck.

“I love you, too, Luca. Now, give me what I want.”

“Yes, ma’am,” he teases as he sits back and removes his clothing. I’ll never tire of seeing Luca naked. He is perfection. He lowers himself on top of me, settling his length right against my entrance. There’s always this moment of delightful anticipation before he enters me.

Luca kisses me hard, smothering my moan, as he thrusts inside me. Our bodies were made to be together, to move together, to be as one. I’ll never get enough of him, and I know he’ll never get enough of me.

Luca keeps his thrusts steady as we make love. We’re not in a hurry tonight. We’re just content to be.

My hands dig into his back as I pull him closer. He wraps his arms around me, enveloping me in his hold. Our heads press together, our gazes locked. I love this man so much it hurts.

Our breaths come out in pants as we pick up our pace. Every thrust of his erection inside me gets me one step closer to the edge.

Luca’s arms tighten around me. “Fuck, Nat. You feel so good around me.”

“You feel so good inside me.”

We smile together. It doesn’t take long before each of our releases wash over us. We moan each other’s names. We cling to each other. We love each other.

Luca rolls off me and pulls me into his arms. “That was fun.”

Now, it’s my turn to laugh.

CHAPTER11

Luca

The next morning, we return to the safe house. Though our date was fun, we can’t do it every day. It’s too risky. But having that night with Nat really made all the difference. I feel more connected to her than ever.

However, this blissful feeling doesn’t last long as I pull into the driveway. Something is wrong. I know it.

Nothing is out of order. But in my gut, I know someone is here. I’ve lived my life undergoing stressful situation after stressful situation. I know when something doesn’t feel right.

“Luca?” Nat asks.

“Stay in the car,” I tell her.

“Why? What’s going on?”

“I don’t know. But I need to check it out.” I get out of the car. “Get behind the wheel in case you need to drive away.” She slides over into the driver’s seat.

“Be careful, Luca. Please.”

I wink at her. “I always am.”

I keep my gun drawn as I approach the house. My eyes and ears are peeled for anything, but it’s all so quiet. Cautiously, I open the front door and back up, waiting to see if anything happens. But nothing does.

I inch forward into the house. If someone is here, I might be able to catch them by surprise.

I check the kitchen and the living room, but there’s nothing. When I turn to walk down the hallway, I stop. The mirror over the fireplace is pointing down the hallway. Revealing the open bedroom door. I know I shut it before we left. Someone’s here.

I take light steps as I move down the hallway. When I push the door open fully, nothing happens. No one comes running out. I’m almost disappointed.

But then I take a step inside, and that’s when I feel it. The blow to my back. I stumble forward and turn around, raising my gun, but it gets knocked out of my hands. It’s only then I see who’s in the house.
