He tsks, shaking his head.

“I was going to tell you about it later,” I say.

His gaze flicks up to me, eyebrow raised.

“Were you?”

“Yes.”

A small smile crosses his lips. He looks amused.

He steps inside, closing the door behind him and taking up the rest of the room. He puts his back against the door, leaving about a foot of space between us.

We’re basically the same height, but he always seems so much taller and so much bigger. Even as he gets to his knees in front of me, it’s him who is looming over me.

“Give me what I want, Kolton.”

He blinks slowly, hands going flat to his thighs. His lips part and he opens his mouth wide, sticking out his tongue.

His obsession with my cum is by far the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.

I step closer to him, spit in my hand, then stroke my dick. He keeps his eyes on me the whole time, his mouth open and waiting. It takes seconds before I feel like I’m going to come, and before I know it, I’m filling his mouth.

His eyes fall closed and he hums happily as his mouth closes. I stare at his throat, waiting for him to swallow but he keeps it in his mouth for a moment, savoring it. When his throat finally works, showing me he swallowed, I let out a sharp breath.

Lucian gets to his feet and leans in to kiss my cheek. “Thank you for being such a good boy. Now get back out there.”

He straightens his tie and pulls open the door for me. I quickly put my dick away and hurry out of the bathroom. As I sit at the table, I realize I just jerked off and didn’t wash my hands. It makes me laugh.

I wait impatiently for Lucian to return. When he does, he has a drink in his hand. That was his cover. He doesn’t make eye contact as he sits down, and for some reason, that’s even hotter than if he had. When he sips from his drink, my eyes are locked onto his lips. Him on his knees for me just moments ago flash through my mind. The way he’s never afraid to get on his knees for me, the same way I do for him, is so sexy.

The rest of dinner goes off without a hitch. The food is good, and my father ignores me most of the time since Kaison is between us, which is fine by me. He got us our own room, so I won’t have to deal with him later either. I’m sure it’s only so he can find some random broad to fuck, but whatever. I don’t care what he does, as long as he leaves me the fuck alone. It’s beena couple years since he’s done any ofthatto me, but he hasn’t stopped using me as a punching bag when he feels like it.

We get to our room and Kaison lays on the bed, turning on the TV.

“I’m going for a walk.”

“Whatever,” he says, flipping through the channels.

I pull open the door and head down the hall to the elevators. My cell is in my hand, waiting for it to vibrate. Lucian said he’d text me when he was ready to meet. I’m too antsy to stay in the room with my brother and wait. There’s a floor to ceiling window in the elevator bay and I walk to it and look outside, over the big city. My head gets a little fuzzy when I see how high up I am. I’m not afraid of heights, but it throws me off balance for a moment when I look down.

The elevator dings and the doors open, so I step on. I stare at the buttons, not sure where I’m going, just that I want to look around. So I press the button for the very top floor—61. I get off and go to the window, pressing my head to it and looking down. It makes my stomach feel weird, like when I go down a hill in my truck too fast. Or when I was a kid and would go really high on the swings. I stay there for a while, feeling a strange sense of freedom as I look down at the darkness below. There are lights down there the size of ants, some belonging to buildings and some to cars, but everything looks so small from up here. I bet there are people down there too. It isn’t all that late, and New York has a busy nightlife. I’ve been here enough times to know. With a sigh, I push off the glass and walk down the hallway tolook around. It looks exactly like my floor, only this one has less spill stains on the carpet. I bet the rooms are double the price too. Rich people always have to be above everyone else, in all aspects. When I reach a corner, I hear someone arguing. So I move closer and strain my ears to listen.

It’s a woman, and she’s furious.

“—such a fool of me. I don’t even know why I bother anymore. It’s useless. You’re useless!”

It’s quiet for a moment, then, “You’re not going to say anything? You have nothing to say? Typical. It’s just like you to not care about a damn thing. Nothing but your job, that is. And getting drunk.” She scoffs. A door clicks shut. I push off the wall to keep moving on, now that my entertainment is gone, but someone rounds the corner and I nearly bump into them.

Intohim.

There’s a frown on his face, until he recognizes me. Then his eyes light up.

Was that Beth talking to him that way? It makes my skin itch. I hate hearing the way she talks to him.

“I was just going to call you,” he says.

“I didn’t know you were up here. I was just looking around the hotel,” I say quickly.
