"You good?" Remus asks, popping our mouth guard out enough so the words aren't too garbled.

Phil winces before his lips press hard together. He gives me one solid nod, but looks like he wants to say something more. He doesn't get the chance before the ref calls me to the center. He checks to make sure Kyle and I are going to follow the rules and then asks us to tap knuckles.

As much as I hate the man, we've never disrespected an opponent by not tapping gloves. Remus is not on the same page as I am about not being disrespectful. He hops away from Kyle as he holds up his gloves, mentally flipping him off as the crowd cheers around us. Even the ref looks like he wants to crack a smile. Remus smiles, which is more like he's baring the mouthguard at Kyle, but everyone knows what it is because the corners of our fucking eyes are crinkled to shit.

Because he's messy and dramatic and just an absolute shit fighter, Kyle gets pissed off at everyone here, making him the butt of the joke. He comes for Remus fast and hard. What hasn't changed since the last time we fought is how bad he is at it.

He swings a hook, leaving his entire face unguarded because he doesn't keep his hands up, and Remus takes full advantage. After we block the hook, he hits him with one of our own, but unlike how Remus was able to block his hit, Kyle's beast takes it right to the cheekbone. He looks dazed for a second, and Remusreally does want to kill him because we normally at least give our opponents a second to figure out if they're going to pass out or not before waylaying them some more. Remus gives no such courtesy to Kyle. He slams his fist into his face again, and before Kyle passes all the way out, he hits him once more, and Kyle falls hard.

Remus walks back toward our corner before the match is called, the crowd cheering for a knockout even though technically this match was supposed to last five rounds, but it's over in less than one. Phil is looking at his phone again, but that isn't what has us starting to panic. No, it's the fact that Henry is right behind him, mouthing something that looks a hell of a lot like "The baby's coming!"

"Is my omega in labor?" Remus snarls after he spits out his mouth guard.

He growls loudly, the sound rumbling loud enough for those close enough to the ring to tilt their heads down. No one else really notices since they're all hyped up on the fight. The ref grabs for our hand, and it takes everything in me to keep Remus from lashing out at him and striking him.

"My omega's having her baby," Remus says, the ref's mic picking up the words and sharing them with someone who must be near the announcers' table.

A second later, our announcement is shared with the entire stadium. A graphic with a baby cradle pops up on the giant screens around the arena. Mine and Remus's face is pasted onto a swaddled baby body. There's a filter on the image, putting a binky in our mouth. Oh, Henry's going to love that.

"We're leaving," Remus snatches his arm away from the ref, and before anyone can try to stop him, he's jumping from the ring.

We grab Henry's phone out of his hands because he's taking pictures of the screens. We're too late, and he has his phonelocked again, smirking at us because he knows he's going to use that to get back at us for any little slight he thinks we might've ever done to him.

We have done a lot to him.

We are a united front in hating Henry for taking that picture.

"Where is my omega?" Remus growls, shooting a nasty glare at some fan behind Henry when he tries to approach us.

We're definitely not winning any personality points tonight. Given that we're about to have a baby in our life, our behavior should be forgiven.

"Jace is with her at the hospital," Henry tells us, walking through the crowd that parts easily with how many pheromones and demands for submission Remus is putting out.

Remus doesn't want to be fucked with, doesn't want to be stopped, and wants to be at Hayley's side because she is all that matters. She and that little girl are our entire world, and we can't wait to have the honor of caring for them as long as we can.

"You left my mate alone with an alpha?" Remus asks, his teeth snapping in irritation.

"I left her with family, and Lilah and Scott were with them in case anything happened on the way to the hospital."

Remus mutters something under his breath about not wanting any other alphas near her, but that's just the worried and overprotective part of us. I remind him that her doctor is an alpha, which pisses him off but takes the heat off Henry for leaving Hayley under the supervision of two of them.

"I want to see her," Remus says, and then, in a surprising maneuver, as soon as we're outside, still just in our fighting shorts and shoes, he gives me control of our body.

I'll kill any male who touches our girls. I can't be trusted right now.

Henry shoves my shoulder to get me moving in the correct direction toward the cars. Now that Remus isn't out, a fewpeople try to come over to talk to us and ask us for pictures. Remus might not be coming out, but Romulus is willing to stick up for us when he gets the chance.

"He's having a baby, go away," Romulus isn't eloquent. He's actually an idiot, but he's lovable and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Even when he's threatened to kill Remus and me, it's always been way funnier than actually scary.

It isn't until we're in his car, driving toward the hospital, that Henry looks over at me, his dark eyes filled with joy. "How fucking happy are you?"

"I'll be ecstatic as soon as I can see them both," I say, unable to stop the smile on my lips. My head shakes with disbelief at how my life is about to change. "I'm going to be a dad."

"Fuck yeah, you are," Henry tells me, pumping his fist. "Best fucking dad ever."
