“There we go,” he laughed. When he finally slid himself into the base, I let my head hang forward, gasping for breath as I adjusted. Before I could properly, he withdrew entirely, and then entered me again on a single thrust.
“God,God—” I sobbed. “Too much.”
“Too much, huh?” He pulled out again. You were all cocky before, didn’t think you needed prepping.”
“I—don’t—” I bit out. I was stopped short from protesting further when he closed his fingers over my clit at the same time he rocked right back into me, and I screamed, muffling the sound into my arm. Aidan tapped my shoulder impatiently.
“No, no, Wolfie. Let me hear those sounds.”
Then he set a brutal pace, and I couldn’tnotscream—in pleasure, a plea, broken begs for more, more less, to come, to be kept on the edge forever. I didn’t know what I wanted. I wanted him. Ineededhim.
Aidan fucked me hard and rough, and when he was close, he yanked my hips right up to his, gripping my ass to keep me spread. My arms screamed in protest at the pull from where my wrists were bound. His name was a chant from my lips, a desperate cry. My orgasm grew closer, listening to his groans of my name.
“What am I, Dakota?” he asked, all teasing gone from his voice. He was deeply serious. My orgasm crested as he sped up. “Answer me,” he gasped out. “Answer me,Wolfie.”
And as my climax rose, starting to make my thighs shake and jerk, Aidan flicked my clit, and I had MyAlphaon my tongue but what came out when I screamed my orgasm, drawing my hips up to him, was “My mate.”
Chapter 25 - Aidan
“My mate,” Dakota screamed into the bedsheets. Her ass ground back into me, and just that proclamation from her lips had me coming with a choked-off moan, emptying deep inside of her. As soon as I did, the reality of what she’d cried out had me frozen. Her shoulders were rigid even as she gasped to catch her breath.
I’d already come but I was still rock hard in her.
“Alpha,” Dakota whimpered, when I pulled out, and when I leaned over to tip her head up, her eyes were glassy, her mouth slack and in a trance. Tear stains streaked down her cheek and I wanted to lick them up.
I reached over and undid my belt around her wrists, and Dakota slipped into a loose, lax position on the bed. Her limbs went boneless as she sprawled on her back. Her eyes lowered to my dick, still hard, and lifted her hand, giggling, as if she wanted to take hold of it. Her legs parted and I bit back a stupid groan at the sight of her glistening and leaking with our climaxes.
“Mate,” I whispered, thumbing her slit, collecting the arousal there, wiping it on the sheets. Her eyes met mine, and it was like lucidity kicked in. Either she sobered immediately or was down from the high of her orgasm. Something snapped in her face, her expression solemn.
“Mate,” she repeated.
“Am I?” I whispered. “Dakota, I…”
“Don’t say anything,” she murmured. “Please.”
She was right to ask that of me. I didn’t know if I could accept her but I refused to reject her. Instead, I slumped down next to her, tucking one arm behind my head, and tucked theother beneath her to pull her close. Everything in me screamed to be near her.
“You’re the first girl I’ve ever had in here,” I told her, avoiding the topic, as she toyed with my hard length still. Not enough to be focused, a languishing sort of stroking that had my breath hitching. She winced every time she moved, and I worried I’d been too rough with her but she had a small smile playing on her face.
The wordmatelay between us like a weight but we talked around it.
“Am I really?” she asked softly. Her hand drifted up my chest, smoothing across my pecs, swirling her fingertip over my skin.
“Yeah,” I answered. My eyes flicked up to the ceiling as she snuggled closer. I shouldn’t be letting this happen. I couldn’t accept the mating bond, not yet.
So, instead, I asked her once again. “Why did you leave Oak Hill?” Then I voiced my newer worry ever since I realized what we might be to each other. “Why won’t you come back?”
“What is there for me here?” she asked, avoiding my first question.
A pack, I wanted to say, not quite sure when my thoughts had shifted to that. To thinking that she could belong here, with my pack. Withme.
“What is there for you back in Silverlake Valley? An alpha who belongs to another Luna? You didn’t win the Mating Games, Dakota. It’s been a year, hasn’t it? You want to go back to the pack that treat you like you’re lower ranked than Ryan, here?”
“I can’t stay here,” she whispered. “Thalia’s my friend. Lyna is my friend.”
“Ryan’s your friend,” I found myself countering. “Dec thinks you’re amusing. He thinks you’re my match in temper and challenge. Jason has wanted to apologize to you every day you’ve been here but hasn’t figured out how to yet. Sam was an asshole at first but he’s chill now. He gets to banter with you.”
“Aidan, what are you saying?”
