He met Wilder’s gaze while the man kept joking around with the boys, and that one look told him they would be back.
He grabbed his helmet and tugged it over his head, then mounted his bike. He gave the signal to go and took off as the last one, that chill remaining until they drove up in front of the clubhouse. Being this close to seeing Miles had his blood thrumming. His helmet and gloves were off in seconds, and he took long steps toward the front door, only one thing on his mind. Only one man.
He didnotfind Miles in his room.
He stalked down the hall, anger and lust warring inside him. He slammed open the door to Miles and Emma’s room, finding the man leaning back on his bed with an open book in front of him.
Miles snapped his head up, those brown eyes startled.
Kaz kicked the door shut behind him.
“I told you to wait in my room.”
Miles sat up, his gaze wary and his movements careful.
“I don’t take orders from you,” he grumbled at Kaz.
Oh, but he’d taken orders so fucking well earlier, and though he didn’t say as much, the brow he raised at Miles communicated that thought well enough. He knew Miles understood when he snapped his mouth shut, anger alight in his eyes.
“Get out,” Miles said, putting his book down next to him on the bed, gaze locked on Kaz. “I’m not your anything. You can’t tell me what to do.”
The need to claim Miles had never been stronger, and something red-hot burned through his veins. A sharp intake of breath told him Miles knew he’d just fucked up.
The book hit the floor with a dull thud as Miles scrambled off the bed to escape him, but he was faster. He caught Miles and slammed him against the wall, a hand wrapping around his throat. He felt Miles swallow against his palm and smiled as he leaned close, placing his lips by Miles’s ear.
“We’ll see about that, won’t we?” he said, teeth scraping across the shell of Miles’s ear.
Miles’s responding moan set his blood on fucking fire. Miles had no idea what he did to him. What he’d always done to him.
He’d show him.
He’d make the man beg for him until he allowed him to come apart in his arms.
“Get on your knees,” he said, and pulled back to meet Miles’s fiery gaze.
Miles’s jaw clenched tight, and he remained standing, his resistance only making Kaz smile.
“No,” Miles said.
Kaz felt his brows jump, and a startled laugh escaped him.
“No, what?”
Miles pressed his lips together, something warring in his eyes.
He lowered his head to run his nose along the side of Miles’s neck. “No, what, Miles?”
“You have to leave,” Miles said, his voice trembling as Kaz pressed his lips to the raging pulse in his neck.
“Do I?”
He kissed his way up Miles’s neck until he found that spot behind his ear that had the man shivering in his arms.
“Earlier?” Miles sucked in a breath, swaying slightly on his feet and making Kaz grab him by the hip. “Ear-earlier. Mistake. It was a mistake.”
Kaz only chuckled and slid his hands down to Miles’s ass to jerk his body against his. Miles groaned, and Kaz bit back a moan when he felt Miles’s hardening length against him.
“Jane,” Miles gasped out, the name coming out strangled, as if it wasn’t only Kaz he was trying to remind.
