“What’s wrong?”
There was genuine concern in Kaz’s voice. At least he thought so. It only made everything that much worse.
“Are you seriously worried about me when your girlfriend just had her tongue down some guy’s throat out there?”
Kaz’s brows furrowed, and he took a step closer.
“Really?” Miles snapped, giving Kaz a scathing look. “You don’t care that your girlfriend’s… cheating.Right.Why would you care? You both cheat.”
“She’s not my girlfriend.”
Another step closer.
Miles huffed. “Old lady. Whatever.”
“No,” Kaz said, eyes dark as they took in Miles’s face.
“What do you mean,no?”
He took a step back, wincing when he hit the sharp handle on a cabinet. He moved a step to the side, grabbing the edge of the counter behind him.
“You don’t make it easy.”
“Oh, fuck you,” Miles snarled.
He took a breath, and then Kaz was in front of him, those stunning silver eyes staring into his with a dark intensity that set his pulse racing.
Kaz’s gaze dropped to Miles’s mouth, and air became a rare commodity.
“What are you…”
Kaz’s hands were in his hair, on his face, lips crashing down on his in a rough kiss. Eager and demanding. Kaz devouring him with every swipe of his tongue.
He had Kaz’s body pressed against his, Kaz’s tongue in his mouth, and he was moaning, holding Kaz against him with his hands sliding up the back of his neck to tangle in his hair.
It felt so fucking good. It had been so long since he had Kaz’s hands on him like this. Since Kaz worshipped him with his hands and mouth.
Wrong. Wrong.Wrong.
He slammed his hands against Kaz’s chest, pushing the man back a step, and then his fist connected with the side of Kaz’s face.
He gasped for breath, chest rising and falling rapidly as he watched Kaz stumble back a step, fingers going to his jaw. His hand was throbbing, but he ignored it. His dad had taught him how to hit without causing damage to himself, and his uncle had taught himwhereto hit. Nothing was broken. On either of them.
Kaz slowly raised his gaze, his eyes filled with a darkness that had Miles swallowing hard, the need thrumming in his veins kicking up to a hundred in a mere second.
Kaz grabbed him by the throat, mouth slamming hard against his. He stood no chance. All he could do was hold the fuck on as Kaz ravaged him.
He wanted it too much. He wanted Kaz too much to push him away, to leave, to stop him. He should know better than to believe Kaz’s word, but… considering Jane’s recent actions and Kaz’s lack of a response, perhaps hewastelling the truth?
He was weak when it came to Kaz, and while he knew for certain he would hate himself later, he wanted Kaz too much to put a stop to this.
Kaz jerked Miles away from the counter, only to turn him around and push him across another. He caught himself with his hands on the countertop, the cold stone biting into his skin.
“Here?” he gasped out, gaze jerking toward the door.
Anyone could walk in. Anyone could see them.
“Oh fuck,” he groaned, Kaz’s teeth digging into that spot between his neck and shoulder.
