Dom’s smile is a little shy as he shrugs off the jacket. He’s cut openings in his dress shirt from the top of his shoulders to halfway down his back so his tentacles can slip easily through.
I reach behind him to tease my fingertips over the satiny skin. Dominic hums low in his throat and claims another kiss.
As we inhale each other’s breath, Andreas eases closer. He dapples kisses along the curve of my shoulders and the back of my neck.
Every graze of his lips sets off sparks through my chest.
When he tugs off his own jacket, I lift my hand to run my fingers along the collar of his shirt. He groans, leaning into my touch.
“I missed you so much,” he mumbles against my hair. “Dreamed about you every night. Ranted at myself for being stupid enough to lose you after you went through so much to find us.”
“I missed you too,” I admit in a small voice, and he hugs me against him from behind, nuzzling the corner of my jaw.
The air turns thick with the scent of anticipation and lust. But this moment is about so much more than simple bodily cravings.
I grip Dominic’s collar and gaze into his bright hazel eyes. “I love you.”
Dom cups my face in a gesture that couldn’t make me feel more cherished. “I don’t even know how to say how much I love you.”
Andreas’s arms tighten around me. I let my head tip back against him. “I love you too.”
He sucks in a breath and bows his head beside mine. “Then I’m the luckiest man who ever existed on this planet. I’m going to spend every second I can making sure I’m proving how much I mean it.”
Dominic’s fingers find the zipper beneath my armpit and ease it down. The heat of the men’s bodies on either side of me ward off any chill as he peels my dress off to pool at my feet.
I still feel abruptly overly naked, but there’s an easy way to balance the scales. I grasp at the buttons on his shirt, flicking them open as quickly as I can.
When Dom takes over, tugging the shirt right off, I run my hands over his chest and tip forward to lap my tongue over one pebbled nipple. He lets out a rough sound and jerks my mouth back up to his, firm but not brutal about it.
His tentacles curl around his body to stroke over mine. The suckers press against my skin all along my torso in a multitude of kisses.
“That’s hardly fair,” Andreas mutters in a teasing tone. “How are my two hands supposed to compete?”
Dominic grins at him, so at ease with the reference to his strange appendages it makes my heart flutter. “You’ll just have to make particularly good use of what you have. You could start by undoing her bra.”
Drey hums and hooks his fingers around the band. As the pressure falls away with the drooping of the cups, I turn toward him.
Facing him again, more undressed than I ever was the one time we got intimate before, a momentary awkwardness settles over me. I don’t know where to set my hands or aim my eyes.
Maybe sensing my shift in mood, Dominic’s touch gentles. One tentacle wraps around my waist in a tender embrace while his hands slide around to cup my breasts as if to shield them.
Andreas gazes down at me, the rich brown of his skin even more vibrant than usual but a shadow of anguish still lurking in his eyes.
He glides his fingers along my jaw to my chin like he did the first time he kissed me, but he simply holds them there, his face still inches from mine. His tongue flicks out to wet his lips.
“Tell me what you want from me,” he says, his voice raw. “I’m honored to be invited in at all, Riva. It only goes as far as you say. You have to know how much I want you.”
I do, because the same need burns inside me. We merged our souls together but never had the chance for the wonder of it to sink in before it was spoiled.
I want to do this right.
The words tumble out. “Kiss me.”
Andreas doesn’t need to be asked twice. He bends down to capture my lips.
The same thrill tingles through me as did on the dance floor.
My hands slip under the hem of his shirt of their own accord to fan across his taut abs and toned chest. Drey groans and fumbles with the top buttons of his shirt before yanking it over his head.
