“Any trouble?” Her nervousness makes it easy to forgive myself for the lie I’m about to tell.
“Nope. Thor was even helpful enough to let me know these were yours.” Opening the door, I show her the plant holders and wall decoration, and tears immediately well in her eyes.
“You got them!” Her hands cup her mouth as she turns and buries her face in my chest.
“Why didn’t you tell me they were important to you?” I’d have made sure she had them sooner.
“My grandma and I made them together before she passed away a few years ago. She made a living from selling her macrame creations. I didn’t want to cause any issues with Thor. I just wanted us to part ways.”
“Pup, look at me.” Her head lifts, and our eyes meet. “Don’t leave stuff out. Tell me everything because I’d move heaven and earth for you. You know that, right?” She nods as the tears streak down her cheeks.
“I love you, husband.” I’ll never get tired of hearing those words from her.
“I love you more than anything, my beautiful wife.”
I kiss her senseless, keeping her occupied until everything is unloaded and we can go upstairs alone to show her just how much I worship her.
Epilogue 1
Brea
Several Months Later – Victory Bowl Sunday
“Jesus, fuck, pup. Holy fuck.” T.K. losing his mind over me being on my knees in the locker room, giving him what he calls “good luck” head, soaks my pussy. I could, and, in fact, have come just from the sounds of his pleasure.
“Shit, Brea, I’m going to come.”
I open my eyes and meet his blissed-out stare as he brushes the hair off my face. I know what he wants. To see me. To watch me as he comes down my throat. To watch me swallow his seed now that he’s planted it inside my womb.
Pulling off, I nip the thick head and say, “Come for me, Tate,” before taking him to the back of my throat again. Squeezing his balls, I wait until he’s teetering on the edge before swallowing and forcing my throat to take another half inch of him.
He shouts, then shoots down my throat as he climaxes. One hand grips my hair tightly while the other one pets my cheek fondly as he tenses and groans, trying not to force in more of himself.
“Fuck, pup, do you have any idea how amazing your mouth is?” Lapping at his softening dick, I shake my head while licking my lips and smiling up at him. “Fucking devilish little thing.” He grasps my hands and pulls me to my feet.
“Only for you, husband.” He growls, still delighted when I call him that.
“I fucking love you, Brea, and little peanut here. I can’t wait to start a family with you.” Our mouths crash together, our tongues intertwine, and I clutch onto his shoulders, falling in love with him all over again.
T.K. has not been shy about his desire to have this baby. For him, October can’t come soon enough. I plan to savor every minute we share together until then. It’s not that I’m not excited, I just know that once the baby arrives, our lives will be turned upside down. T.K. has been trying to convince me to let him hire a nanny or a maid service. Anything to make my life easier is his motto right now.
“You better get out there and kick some ass,” I say when there’s a pounding on the doors–probably Cash or Kace.
“Yeah, yeah, the Cup. I’ll bring it home. Then for the spring, you’re all mine. Right up until the season starts.” Dropping to his knees, T.K. lifts my dress to pepper kisses across my belly. It’s become one of his favorite things to do when he’s not between my legs. Not that I’m complaining, of course.
With another kiss, I push him out the door and take a few minutes in front of a mirror to clean up my face and fix my hair. I grin when the stadium erupts in San Antonio, Texas. Even though the Rattlers aren’t in the Victory Bowl this year, they’ve put on a hell of a week of activities for all football fans.
Tonight, we play against the New York Nighthawks, and while their team has been good this year, they haven’t beaten the Settlers once, so my fingers are crossed that this game won’t be an exception.
Adeline waits for me in the tunnel as I make my appearance, and we hook arms, entering the field together. Both mine and T.K.’s families are up in the box he rented for them. He wanted me there, too, worried about the excitement and the pregnancy, but I insisted I would be fine. Adeline promised to stick by my side, alleviating some of his concerns. There will never be a time when the man will not worry about me, and that’s something I can live with.
The game begins, and the fans seem to be on their feet for most of it. Every tackle, each touchdown, every single time someone recovers a fumbled ball or there is a turnover, they lose their minds. I’ve been to plenty of games and a few Victory Bowls, but there’s something special about watching it happen from the sidelines. It’s a wild ride, and I catch as much footage as I can. Even posting a few short reels to keep the at-home viewers engaged, while not giving away the entire game.
It’s nearing the end of the fourth quarter when Cash makes a throw to Mathias that sends him down the field for his second touchdown of the night. As the crowd screams, I turn the camera on and face Cash to find him and Jacob Badry, our wide receiver, rushing over to where I stand with Adeline. Kace isn’t far behind, jogging from the sidelines.
Adeline freezes as Cash reaches her first, wrapping one hand around her neck, the other around her back, and draws her in for a tantalizing kiss. As soon as Kace reaches them, she’s passed over to him, who does the same. Jacob remains patient, standing behind her and kissing along her throat until she’s turned into his embrace, and he gives her the same treatment.
Biting my lip, I can only imagine how the stadium feels watching this very intimate display, but they’ve just staked their claim on my best friend, and I can’t wait to witness their love develop and grow.
