“The rest of it was excellent, so well done on that.”
Noah beamed at the praise he’d given him, then turned to his mum. “Dad said it would be all right, that it was a ‘sh’ word.”
“Technically, it is, but again, probably not good for the homework book,” Jacob said. See, he thought, a smart boy, but definitely being led astray by his dad. “Now, off you go and get ready for lessons to start.” Noah jumped up, kissed his mum on the cheek and dashed off to play with Ellie.
“I amsosorry,” Noah’s mum said. “I left his dad to help him while I was out working. I’ll be sure to check it before we hand it in next time. I can’t believe he told him to leave it in.”
“Honestly, it’s OK, but if you could check it, that would be great. It did give me a laugh, though. He’s a bright kid.” They both stood, the conversation over, and Noah’s mum walked away, patted her son on the head and left the room.
Like yesterday, the parents filed out, and Jacob was left with an eager class of seven-year-olds. He loved teaching and if it hadn't been for Abby, he might never have discovered his passion for it.
When he’d come back from Durham, he’d started working as a teaching assistant, much the same as Lisa was doing now. The hours fit in with Abby’s, and he didn’t have to work the school holidays. When she became a little older, he did his teaching degree and the relevant qualifications for him to teach primary education. He’d been a teacher at this school for two years now, and he loved it all, the staff, the kids, even the head teacher.
As he stood in front of the class, he thanked his lucky stars he’d been able to find this and got to do the job that he absolutely loved.
The day passed uneventfully. No one tried to jump out of the window, and his students had only been slightly covered in paint, despite their aprons.
He’d met Abby at home, and she got ready for her lesson with Dom. He’d contemplated going to find some cake to go with the coffee he was going to buy for him but decided he’d save that for another day.
“Hurry up, Abby. We’ll be late,” he shouted up to her.
“We’ve got loads of time,” she yelled back at him as she clattered down the stairs. “In a rush to see your boyfriend, are we?” The sassy look on her face spoke volumes.
“Hey, don’t be cheeky, and he’s not my boyfriend,” he argued, but there was no conviction in the statement, and he smiled to himself.
“Yet.” Abby smirked at him. “I know you have a plan in place to get him back. I approve, Jakey. It’s been far too long.” She breezed out of the door to the car.
Jacob stared after her, his mouth hanging open. He shook himself and closed the door behind him. What did she know about it being far too long?
He stopped off at the local drive-thru and bought a cappuccino for Dom and an Americano for him. Abby took bottled juice and a cookie.
They arrived at the local hall where they were currently having the lessons, and as they walked inside, Jacob tried not to stare at Dom. He laughed at something Abby was saying, but his attention was on the man sitting casually on one of the chairs. Dom turned to face them, and Jacob forgot how to breathe.
He tried to keep his cool and nonchalantly walked towards him, Dom’s coffee in his outstretched hand. The resulting smile as he handed him the drink was worth its weight in gold. Jacob’s heart soared in his chest, and he knew, without doubt, he wanted him again. Any way he could.
After talking about meeting again at the weekend, he sat and watched Abby and Dom dance for a couple of hours. He couldn’t take his eyes off him and the way he moved. His hips moved so sensually to the music. It was all too much, and Jacob hoped they wouldn’t ask him to stand up any time soon. Abby didn’t need to see the very prominent boner he was sporting.
At the end of the lesson, Jacob had about got himself under control when they both approached him, breathless and sweaty, a fine combination as far as Dom was concerned, and he could think of more ways to elicit this debauched look from the dance tutor.
“You look hot,” Jacob said, realising after it had come out of his mouth how it had sounded.
Dom looked at him, a cheeky grin on his face. “So I’ve been told many times.” He licked his lips and winked at Jacob. He could only stare as Dom whipped his shirt over his head and wiped the sweat that was cascading down his face and chest.
Jacob’s jaw dropped open, and Abby couldn’t control the laughter that bubbled out of her mouth.
“Oh my God, Jacob. You should see your face.” She continued to laugh, tears streaming down her face.
Dom reached over and, putting his finger to his chin, slowly closed his mouth.
“Don’t want you catching any flies there, teacher boy!” Dom slowly dragged his finger along Jacob’s jaw, sending shivers along his spine. Fuck, he was a goner!
Chapter Eleven
Dom
The next few days passed quickly, but with not much to do other than look after Jordan, Dom’s mind kept wandering back to the most recent dance session with Abby.
The urge to tease Jacob had been too great, and he hadn’t been able to resist. He hadn’t intended to remove his shirt, but once the thought had crossed his mind, the temptation had become too great. The look on Jacob’s face had been priceless, though, and as he’d glanced at him, he had been able to see the effect it had had on his dick.
