By Hunter’s side, surrounded by her newfound family, ready to face whatever the future might bring.
Together, they’d started a war. Together, they’d brought an empire to its knees.
And together, they’d build something new from the ashes.
A legacy of their own, forged in blood and brotherhood.
A future worth fighting for.
As the sun rose over the compound, casting everything in shades of gold and crimson, Eden raised her glass in a silent toast.
To new beginnings. To second chances. To the family she’d found in the midst of the chaos.
And to the man by her side, the one who’d stolen her heart and given her back her soul.
Together, they were unbreakable.
Together, they could take on the world.
The road ahead beckoned, a siren’s call to adventure and danger and everything in between.
But for now, she was content to live in the moment. To bask in the warmth of Hunter’s love, the strength of the club’s loyalty, and the knowledge that she’d finally found her place in the world.
It was a new day, a new beginning, a new chapter in a story that had only just begun.
And she couldn’t wait to see where it would take her next.
As they finished their drinks, Hunter leaned in close, his breath warm against her ear. “Let’s get out of here,” he murmured, his voice low and rough with promise, sending a wave of heat straight to her core.
Eden shivered, a thrill of anticipation running down her spine. She knew what he was suggesting, and every part of her ached to say yes, to lose herself in the passion that always burned so bright between them.
But first, there was something she needed to do.
She turned to face him, her hand coming up to cup his cheek, feeling the scrape of his stubble against her palm. “I need to talk to the prospect,” she said, her voice soft but firm. “I need to make sure she’s okay.”
Hunter’s eyes searched hers for a long moment, a silent communication passing between them. Then he nodded, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
“Okay,” he said, brushing a strand of hair back from her face, his touch lingering on her skin. “But hurry back. I’ve got plans for you, darlin’. The kind that’ll make you forget your own name.”
Eden grinned, a wicked gleam in her eye as she leaned in to whisper against his lips. “Which one?”
Hunter’s laugh was rich and warm, his eyes darkening with desire. “Both of them.”
She found the prospect out back, sitting on a low wall and staring out at the horizon. The girl looked up as Maya approached, her eyes wary and guarded.
“Hey,” she said, keeping her voice gentle. “I’m Eden. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.”
The determined young woman shrugged, looking back out at the sky. Her profile struck Eden as familiar…resembling another stubbornly determined man she knew whose attention she could feel boring into her back even now. “I’m fine,” she said, her voice tight with barely concealed emotion. “Just trying to figure out what the hell I’m doing here.”
Eden sat down beside her, careful to keep a respectful distance. “I know the feeling,” she said, a rueful smile tugging at her lips. “Believe me, I’ve been there.”
The girl glanced at her, something like curiosity in her eyes. “Yeah?”
She nodded. “Yeah. My father was...well, let’s just say he wasn’t the kind of man you wanted tocross. I spent years trying to escape his shadow, trying to find my place in the world.”
The young woman, who clearly had something to prove, was silent for a long moment, her brow furrowed in thought. “And did you?” she asked finally, her voice barely above a whisper. “Find your place?”
Eden smiled, thinking of Hunter, of the club, of the family she’d found in the midst of the chaos. “Yeah,” she said, her voice soft but certain. “I did. And you will too.”
