Zia was thankful that the restaurant was so noisy and dimly lit, which acted as a shield of sorts, but knowing that she was loud as fuck whenever she played in her pussy or was getting fucked, she tried to stifle her cries of pleasure as much as possible.

“Zia, what’s wrong, baby? What the hell is happening?” Raymond asked frantically as he placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. “Should I go get someone or call the paramedics?”

“Nooo, don’t call anyone,” She grabbed his free hand as a much higher and faster vibration shot through her coochie. “I’m so embarrassed to say this, but I’m suddenly cramping so bad I can’t see straight.” She lied through gritted teeth as her body yanked her toward one hell of an orgasm. “Oh God! Fuckkk! Raymond, please go. I’ll call you when I get home and ohhhhhh! Make everything up to you.” She whimpered as the speed of the vibrations started coming faster. Zia held her stomach and pretended to double over in pain as her nut closed in on her.

“Okay,” Raymond nodded as he stood. Though he was genuinely concerned about Zia, Raymond was also confused, annoyed, and pissed that his plans for the night was shot to shit. “But are you sure you don’t want me to help you back to the bathroom, get help, or?—”

“Rayyyyy,” Zia slapped a hand against the table as her knees began shaking, and she started squirting as the vibrations in the panties seemed to go into overdrive. “Just goooo! Aghhhhh!” Her toes curled as she tried to squeeze her legs even tighter. “This is so fucking embarrassing. Please go. I’m so sorry.”

Nodding, Raymond hesitated for a moment, then grabbed his phone and headed for the exit. He looked back once but kept going like she asked.

“Ooooouuu shittt!” She grabbed the table with both hands and tried to rock into the vibrations as discreetly as possible until an orgasm slammed against her so hard, the impact forced her back against the seat.

Quickly, she attempted to remove the panties when the vibrations suddenly stopped.

Expelling a deep breath, she sighed as she reclined her head against the back of the booth.

A few minutes later, a grinning Saadiq approached her and handed her a handful of paper towels. “Damn baby, you came hard as fuck. I know ya super soaker pussy soaked up that whole seat, didn’t it?”

Snatching the towels from him, Zia stood, cleaned the seat, and made her way toward the restroom. After removing the panties and cleaning herself, she quickly made a beeline for the exit.

Thankful that Saadiq was nowhere in sight at the moment, Zia rushed toward her ride when she was suddenly snatched up by Saadiq and carried toward the back of the parking lot where he’d parked his Yukon rental.

“Saadiq, I will bite the fuck outta you if you don’t put me down.” She fussed and tussled with him the whole way.

“Gon’ ‘head. But you better follow it up with some kissing, sucking, and licking or we gon’ have a problem.” He closed in on his ride, rounded to the passenger side, and slid her inside. He quickly buckled her in, slammed the door, and drove off toward the highway.

“Saadiq, where the fuck are you taking me?” She sighed and tried to think of anything but Saadiq so her clit would stop beating like it was performing a drum solo. “Also, I drove myself here, by the way. If these people tow my truck, I’mma be pissed and I’m gonna take it out on you.”

“I’ll have you back before this restaurant closes. We’re just going to take a trip down memory lane.”

“If it’s that simple, why didn’t you just ask me out, Saadiq? Why run my date off and ruin my night? You’re acting like I forgave you for hurting me and that we’re back together. And that everything is all good between us. Don’t you think that you’ve hurt me enough?” she asked, attempting to keep the frustration out of her tone.

Saadiq sucked his teeth and then released a dry, sarcastic chuckle. He took a deep breath before finally deciding to respond. “Zia baby, for the millionth time, I never cheated on you. And even if I have to go to the ends of the earth to figure out who set us up and why, I’m gonna prove it to you. I didn’t hurt you. I swear on my parents' graves, I didn’t hurt you. But you don’t believe me, which is why you’ve been avoiding me, ignoring me, and trying to numb your feelings for me. You hate that it’s been so easy for you to give yourself to me and to admit that you still love me and wanna be with me. You’re terrified of trusting me with your heart again. Shit, it took me a hella of time getting that brick wall down the first time, you didn’tthink I was gon’ notice that you rebuilt that muthafucka with reinforcements?”

Shrugging, Zia turned toward the window and let a quick smile slip before saying, “I’m not sure I even know what you’re talking about.”

“Bullshit, but let’s move on and let’s be real though. I didn’t ruin your night, you ain’t wanna be wit that nigga and you know it. You snuck your ass out of my house and been running since I asked you to marry me. You wanna be wit’ me, and that shit scares you. And that’s why you been showing ya ass and shit. You do what you always do when you feel too vulnerable or pissed about something’ you run. Like you don’t know I’mma chase yo’ ass down and give you all the loving and dick you need to get ya’ pretty ass together. You may have let me hit on the first night, but I had to win ya heart.” Reaching for her left thigh, he cuffed it, and a small smile raised the corner of her lips. “Tell me I’m lying. I’ll take you back to your ride and you’ll never hear from me again.”

Tears immediately welled up in her eyes as she rested her head against his arm. She wiped her eyes with her hands and, after a couple of minutes, said, “It’s so annoying that you know me the way you do, Saadiq.”

“I know, stubborn ass.” Saadiq chuckled as he wiped away a fresh set of tears.

“Whatever,” She smiled. “Anyway, I’ve never felt more seen than when I was with you. You didn’t mind my brokenness, my depression, my pain, my bad days, or even my childhood nightmares. You’ve always been so supportive of me and anything I wanted to tackle in this world. And I didn’t realize just how invaluable you were to my healing and happiness until I didn’t have you. You saw me at my worst and lifted me up, showered me with all that unconditional love. I think loving you as hard as I did helped me walk out that door when I decidedto leave you. I didn’t realize how much not being without you would break me down even more. I struggled more with my emotions trying to erase you from my mind than I did when my mom dropped me off at the fire department when I was eight and told me to take care.”

“Then, why won’t you?—”

“Wait, please, let me get the rest of this off my chest.” Zia gently covered her hand over his.

Sighing, Saadiq nodded, and she continued.

“So yes, I am terrified because I’m falling back into old habits. I never stopped loving you, Saadiq. I want you close, but I don’t want you too close at the same time. You know I don't process hurt well. I don’t like how fast you make me want to fall back into living life with you because I can’t get over the pain you caused. But I’m honestly not so sure what to believe now that you’ve had your stay. I don’t want to trust you, and you break my heart all over again, but it feels so good to be surrounded by your energy and wrapped in your arms again.”

Saadiq pondered her words as he pulled into the Ford Wyoming Drive-In. The same drive-in where they met all those years ago. After paying their admission, Saadiq found them a spot, parked, and killed the engine. Leaning over the seat, Saadiq captured Zia’s lips in a kiss and ran his hand through her hair and down her neck.

“I know you’re scared, baby,” Saadiq said as he grazed his hand across her cheek. “I know what you’re thinking because I have those same fears. But we’re gonna get through this together. We’re gonna figure it out together. I’m gonna get us the answers we both need. But in the meantime, I ain’t gon’ let up on applying pressure to that brick wall you trying to keep erected between us. It’s coming down one way or the other. Matter fact, as soon as you know the truth, we knockin’ that bitch down together.”

Zia chuckled as she pressed her lips to his and then rested her forehead against his. “If you say so, sexy.”
