He slowly slid two fingers inside me. I laid my head back on his chest. He moved his fingers slowly inside me. I whispered, “Cayden.” He bit my neck then kissed upwards towards my ear. He kept sliding his fingers in and out of me while nibbling my ear.

He whispered, “I love when you say my name, My Duchess.” He began to move his fingers faster. I gasped, “Oh my god.” I whimpered, gripping his butt with my hands desperate for something to hold onto. He commanded, “Come for again, Cass. Come now.” I screamed, “CAYDEN! FUCK!” I didn’t how he did that, but when he commanded me, I couldn’t deny him. Cayden slid his fingers out of me but kept an arm around my waist holding me up until I caught my breath.

I turned around and kissed him lightly and picked up the loofa with my toes. I lifted my foot, grabbed it with my hand, and began to wash him. He closed his eyes enjoying the sensations. I dropped to my knees, eyeing his dick hungrily.

Cayden warned, “My Duchess, when you look at me that way I don’t want to leave the damn house.” I took him in my mouth, and his hands went straight to my hair. I moaned, “Mmmmm.” Cayden gripped my hair tighter locking eyes with me. I didn't have to do much since he was so hard already.

I linked him, “Does fingering me do this to you, My Commander?” Cayden replied, “You do this to me. I can’t help it. When you have your perfectly round ass up against me, my body responds. What did you expect? Your little moans, you whispering then yelling my name, it’s all just...” He trailed off then yelled, “FUCK!” He exploded in my mouth. I swallowed everything he had and released him from my mouth with a pop.

Cayden picked me up off my knees. He put his hand on my face and rubbed his thumb lovingly on my cheek. He kissed me softly, then turned off the water. I snapped us dry and into clothes and popped us to the kitchen. Then I snapped us our favorite breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, biscuits, and a side of bacon. Rain pouted, “That was shorter than I wanted.” I chuckled, “We’ve been inside each other most of the morning.” She grumbled, “Hackura traditions, Cassie.”

I wanted to laugh. The Hackura always had sex leading up to the wedding. I reasoned, “We are still doing that.” She huffed but I knew she wasn’t really upset. Cayden grabbed the orange juice and two glasses for us. We sat down at our table and ate our breakfast together.

When we finished Cayden stood up and kissed me. He told me, “Have a good bachelorette party.” I smiled and stood, “I will. I’m coming with you to the gym though. So, you’ll just have to kiss me againlater.” Cayden laughed, “Of course you are coming to the gym. What was I thinking? I suppose I will just have to give you another kiss later. Darn the luck.” Both of us laughed.

We walked hand in hand into the gym. Aaron walked up to us greeting, “Good morning you two.” I smiled, “Good morning, Aaron.” I kissed his cheek, “I’ll let you guys talk.” They went into Cayden’s office. Rain purred, “I love to watch his ass when he walks away.” It was definitely a good view.

I grabbed a bamboo stick and joined Milana in the ring. After thirty minutes. I heard a laugh I knew. “I’m going to go ahead and call your fight.” I turned around and popped into my uncle’s arms. I pulled back squealing, “Uncle Drake, you’re back!”

He smiled saying, “I am back. None of us will be leaving this week. We all have to be around the week of your wedding. Your mother insists Google says it’s important not to stress out the bride. It’s been heavily emphasized that any of us, or your cousins, being gone could stress you out; therefore, none of us will be leaving.” I covered my mouth.

He added, “Cayden gets a day pass. I do literally mean a day pass. Your mom made him one. The small fine print says that she’ll come get him if he's not back before your party ends.” I laughed, “I’m glad because I would be so sad if one of you missed the wedding.” I wasn’t worried Cayden would miss a thing. He was just as excited about our wedding as I was.

My Uncle snorted, “As if we’d miss this momentous event.” I bit my lip asking, “Is my dad still pouting?” My Uncle laughed, “He’s just moping around over the fact that his little girl is all grown up. You’ll even have a different last name. He loves Cayden though and you know that. He just has to deal with his little girl being a woman.”

I snorted, “I’ve been living with Cayden since I was seventeen.” Uncle Drake smiled, “Ah, but it’s all just different little Cassie. Last name changes that’s a big deal in all realms. Marriage is also a very big deal.” I rolled my eyes, “We’ve been considered married her for several years.” Uncle Drake winked, “But your dad didn’t grow up that way.” Rain agreed, “He has a point.”

I was picked up and spun around without warning. I wasn’t worried since I knew who it was. I commented, “Alexander, you’re here early.” He shrugged, “I wanted to grab Micah before he left.” I tilted my head, “Why?” Alexander shrugged, “It doesn’t matter. This week is all about you.”

I grinned victoriously stating, “Good. Because I want to know what’s bothering my big brother. So, by your logic, you have to tell me. I think I love this rule. Literally no one evade with me when I want to know something. If someone tries, I’ll just call mom then I’ll be told. Wow, this is an odd feeling. I feel so powerful.” My Uncle Drake laughed, “She’s got you there.”

I smiled at my brother, “Come on. I’ll take you to Micah and Max. You can fill me in on the way there.” Alexander laughed, “I’ve already seen them. Then I ran fifteen miles. It’s amazing what you can get done when you don’t spend the morning the uh way you did.” I snorted, “Oh my god. Will any of you be able to say having sex when it comes to me?” Alexander pursed his lips, “Maybe.”

I laughed, “You’ll be just as bad when you meet your Me...” I caught myself, “Mate.” My Uncle Drake asked, “His me mate? What the hell is that?” I looked at Alexander in a panic. I’d almost said his Melanie. Alexander winked at me, then he told Uncle Drake, “She means my mate.”

Uncle Drake raised an eyebrow, “You have a mate named me? I don’t think so, Alexander. Try again.” Alexander smiled, “I would but this week is all about the bride and she wants to talk to me. So, we gotta go. Bye!” He grabbed me and popped me out of the gym.

He'd popped me to the spot I’d first met Cayden in. I teased, “That was so smooth, big brother.” Alexander shrugged, “Hey, sometimes when all you’ve got is popping away you use it.” I put my hand on his shoulder, “They’d understand. Plus, I know that Uncle Bjourn knows. They wouldn’t tell mom.” Alexander rubbed his head, “Sometimes I don’t know why I don’t tell her.” I looked away.

The truth was I didn’t know either. Mom would fix this whole damn mess in a heartbeat. Alexander sighed, “Then I remember that Melanie is living her dream. My little Lovebug is off being amazing. How could I stand in the way of that?” I raised an eyebrow, “Lovebug?” Alexander blushed, “They call her Ladybug, but she’s my Lovebug.”

I laughed, “You know that’s a car, right?” Alexander smiled, “I might have bought her a red one. Jason said she loves them and always talked about it when she was little.” I gasped, “You already boughther car? Where do you keep it?” Alexander shrugged, “A storage space I rent. She loves the color red and Volkswagen bugs. Since she’s my Lovebug I bought her the car she considers her favorite.” Rain told me, “Oden is starry eyed over her. Still one hundred percent solid that she’s theirs.” I agreed with Oden.

I tilted my head, “So have you finally stepped off the crazy train of ‘I’m just obsessed with her’ and actually admit Melanie McAlister is yours.’” Alexander ran a hand through his hair, “Oden is so sure and says she’s ours. Her scent is so intense for us. I just worry since others have said she’s theirs.”

I rolled my eyes, “They want to CLAIM her as theirs, not that she is theirs. She’s yours and no one will convince me otherwise. Now, what brought you here so early?” Alexander rubbed his head. I frowned, “Alexander?” He frowned, “I just have a headache.”

I frowned urging, “Brother, talk to me.” Alexander sighed, “The caller. From last year after we got that note from the Resistance.” I pursed my lips. The note had been because of Alexander. Then when you add Laxenread to the equation, it always came back to Alexander.

Cayden believed Ashley Griffen was behind Laxenread. He couldn’t share that with my family of course because she wouldn’t answer Cayden’s questions about The Ring Resistance. She evaded. Which to me was proof enough, but Cayden wanted more solid evidence. Since Ashley still didn’t want to meet me, I couldn’t make her tell the truth.

Rain huffed, “We know she helped us. Why won’t she meet us?” I didn’t know. I knew beyond all doubt it was Ashley that got Cayden and my family to me two years ago when Cora betrayed me. I was certain Ashley was the best sniper in the Resistance. Cayden said she was astounding with a handgun. He’d seen her use it a few times.

Cayden was beyond frustrated about the whole situation. He had circumstantial evidence, but Ashley told him to let her know when he had actual proof. She seemed confident he wouldn’t find any. So far, she was right. The girl was too goddamn smart.

What I couldn’t figure out was her connection to Alexander. Did she look up to him because he was an Enforcer, skilled at fighting? How would that be enough for Laxenread? For finally giving us information because Alexander had asked, despite YEARS of EJ asking for answers. It just didn’t jive. It felt personal, not hero worship like.

Cayden told me Ashley had implemented Alexander’s training and fighting style with her Warriors. Even without a wolf she’d won the challenge for the Lead Female Warrior. The woman was impressive. Rain teased, “You want to me her.” I agreed, “Of course I do. You can’t deny that something about her and Melanie seemed so similar from the way Elise describes Melanie and the way Cayden described Ashley.” I shook myself instantly knowing that was silly. Melanie was living her dream.
