I linked her, “I do like your way of distracting me. I am officially distracted.” Thor grumbled in my head, “We are going to be all over her after the ceremony. Look at that slit.” I was and my mate’s thighs were practically art. Haley smiled at me then encouraged, “Go see her.” I kissed her again then pulled away.
I opened the door and tears filled my eyes. My little Princess was all grown up in her wedding dress. She was so beautiful. She looked just like her mother, with a hint of me in there. She was the best of me. All my pups were. Thank god they had their mother in there though.
I handed her the box with her tiara and watched her smile brightly when she saw it. I placed it gently on her head, then hugged her tightly to me. Giving her away was going to be one of the hardest things I’d ever done in my life.
I linked Jackson, “Weren’t we panicking the other day because Cassie started popping to me as a pup? How did we get here? When did she grow up so fast?” Jackson snorted, “Hell if I know. I blinked and all our pups were adults. It’s bullshit.”
I replied, “Wise words, little brother. I agree. This is bullshit. She’s stunning though. My little girl is all grown up and getting married. I thought this was several more years away when I found out she was mated to a Hackura.” Jackson snorted, “Yeah, me too.” Thor was huffing and sniffling himself.
I linked him, “You ok, big guy?” He answered, “I’m fine. I have something in my eye. Rain is so happy, and our pup looks beautiful.” I retorted, “Your eyes are my eyes, and we have nothing in them.” Thor growled at me and closed our link.
Damn there really were such strange feelings going around today. Dear god, did I need Dylan Frost here? Fuck. I might. I’d have to go find him after the ceremony. Why wasn’t he here to annoy and distract me right now? I was going to tell him he’d fallen down on his self-imposed job. It perked me up knowing he’d be shocked and go on a tangent about it.
I held my arm out for Cassie so she could pop us to her wedding. Jesus, I swear to god she was just playing with teapots and having tea parties only I was allowed to attend. How the hell did we get here?

After Chapter War
Haley lowered all her defenses when she went to sleep. I didn’t even have to wait long to be pulled to the Beyond. Arion smiled, “Sister.” He winced, “You look pissed.” I hissed, “Where is that bitch?!” Arion raised an eyebrow, and I simply stared at him in silence.
Eventually, he grabbed my hand and popped us away. Alania smiled greeted, “Haley, my darling girl.” The goddamn fucking audacity! I called the wind and threw her bitch ass across the field into a tree. I popped to her and blew off her hand, then her ear. She screamed so I slapped her so hard I was fairly certain the entire Beyond heard it.
Next, I punched her and broke her nose. I opened up the earth and dropped her ass into and crushed her beneath the surface, leaving her torso above ground and conjured a bat. I told her, “Have you ever seen this contraption called a pinata at a child’s parties?”
Arion said, “Of course, we had them at ours.” I snorted, “Of fucking course you did. Angela loves them you horrid bitch.” I threw the bat in my hands and caught the end of it then wailed on her with it. I was enjoying the fact that I couldn't actually kill her.
Arion asked, “Out of curiosity little sister, what did she do?” I hissed, “She helped the Ring get my daughter.” I grabbed her by her hair and slammed her face into my knee. I felt two of her teeth break. I asked her, “Was this your only plan?”
Alania told me, “You’ll never get her back. I didn’t need another plan, I never do.” Except her vanity was her downfall almost every time. She never had backups because she couldn’t conceive that she’d fail. I blew her arm off. I told her, “I already have her back, you vicious bitch. She will continue to be the Fairy with the strongest sight anyone has ever seen. She will be so much more than you, with your deceitful, vindictive whispers. She is good, and she is kind. She is so far above you that you can’t see her from down here. If you EVER come after any of my children again, I will come here every damn night and blow you to pieces OVER AND OVER AGAIN!”
Aiden commented, “I do believe she is serious, mother.” Alania cried, “My boys, please help me.” Aiden glared at her and set her on fire. Arion laughed, “Nice one, brother.” Alania was sobbing. Aiden told her, “You leave our family alone once and for all. Get over the fact that Angela is more powerful than you than you. Haley, her children, mine, and Arion’s are better than you. Move on and stay out of our way. You’re becoming tedious and ever so boring.”
He sneered, “You even sent a letter gloat. How vapid and vain are you? You let Elise and Angela suffer.” Alania spat out blood stating, “Elise is nothing to me.” I hit her with the bat again. I shouted, “Elise is EVERYTHING to my son. You stay the fuck away from her! Do you want to know the ironic thing about your whole damn plan, Alania?”
Alania frowned, “How did you get Angela back? I told them everything they needed to do to keep her.” I laughed, “You didn’t care about your other grandchildren’s mates. Alexander’s mate saved Angela. You didn’t count on her because you didn’t care about her. The amount of suffering you allowed is not something Angela could ever contemplate, never mind perpetuate.”
I was pissed so I voiced all the thoughts I had. “You should’ve been around. You should’ve been her teacher! You should’ve been there for me! Instead, you’re just a petty, basic bitch! You are the reason Arion is here in the Beyond! He’s supposed to be with me and Aiden!” I punched her.
I warned, “You WILL NOT be the reason ANY of my children are here you spiteful TROLL! I will walk through the fires of hell or kill a goddess if I have to, but my children WILL NOT SUFFER YOU ANYMORE!”
Alania snorted, “You haven’t figured out why I’m not there.” I gaped at her for several seconds. Eventually I said, “Yes, I have. As I’m told, you’re the dumb bitch who tied your life force to your child molesting brother.” Fire shot from behind me into Alania’s mouth.
Fenilton popped in front of Alania. He shouted, “THAT IS ENOUGH OUT OF YOU!” Alania’s mouth was burning. Fenilton turned to me, “I will make her suffer. Go back to your family, Haley. They need you.” I hugged him because we had become quite close in my visits. Alania cried, “Even you love her more than me, Fen. You chose her over me.” Fenilton turned, “You are not a woman I recognize. How many times do I have to tell you that? Even now, you wish to hurt your daughter more than you have. You are a mother, Alania. A terrible one, but you are still a mother.” I looked around, noting none of them caught my evasion except maybe Arion.
Fenilton continued, “What if someone casually threw Aiden, Arion, or even Haley to monsters? Haley might not be the best example since you allowed atrocities to happen to her.” I snorted, “None of us are good examples. Being an egg donor doesn’t make her a mother. I’m a fucking mother. She’s just an egg donor who is vapid and shallow.”
Aiden touched my shoulder, “Let’s go back, sister. Arion and Fenilton will take care of this.” I frowned, “Fine, but I’m not done with you, bitch. You hurt me all damn day long, but you don’t fuck with my kids. In fact, I don’t know if I can but why not try?” I held my hand out and tried to take her power, then smirked when I felt it working.
Arion gasped and fanned his face, “I’m so proud right now.” Fenilton looked proud himself. Aiden even grinned at me. Alania gasped, “What? What happened? Where are the paths?” I told her, “They are gone.” She cried, “For how long?”
I answered, “Forever. I took them from you. Don’t fuck with my kids, Alania. I told you that before. NO ONE will hurt my kids and come out of it unfuckingscathed. Even if that someone is dead, in the Beyond or among the living. The Beyond should beware. I can take your damn powers here too. You’re on notice. That goes for everyfuckingone I care about. It’s a long goddamn list so watch the fuck out.” Arion touched my forehead, and I felt Eric’s arms around me.
He whispered, “You’re back.” I replied, “I’m back.” Eric nuzzled me saying, “Tell me you gave her hell.” I kissed him, “I kicked her ass. I even blew off her body parts. Then I beat her with a bat, and found out I can take someone’s powers in the Beyond.”
Eric’s eyes widened. He asked, “You took Alania’s power?” I nodded, “Aiden set her on fire and so did Fenilton. She acted like no one told me how she died. She really should’ve seen that coming given she tied her life to Fabian.” I felt the spike of guilt in the bond.
