Chuckling, he raises his eyebrow. “Afraid to lose, honey?”
I peer up at him and decide to turn the tables on him. “I’m not afraid to lose,” I smile, shaking my head. “I’m just worried about you.”
His brows bunch in confusion. “Worried about me?”
“Well, yeah,” I smile seductively and reach out to run my hand down his sculpted chest. “Once you feel how wet I am from thinking about all the delicious things you are going to do to me in that pool, you will be walking around in a hard, painful state the rest of the night in front of your family. It would be torturous for you.” I step closer until we are touching, and there’s not an inch of space between us. I feel his dick twitch against my stomach and grin.
“Hmmm. I see the dilemma.” He pulls his lip ring and contemplates the situation. “How wet are we talking?”
“Soaking,” I whisper, and he closes his eyes on a groan before piercing me with those greys.
“I appreciate your concern and looking out for me, but there’s just one problem.” He presses against me harder, holding me in place with his hand on my lower back. To everyone else, we are just a couple having a cuddle, but I know it’s far more than that when I feel every inch of him rock hard against my stomach. “It’s too late, so I might as well sayfuck it.”
His hand dives under my dress, and in seconds, his finger is moving my panties to the side and sliding in.
“Miles!” I gasp before it quickly turns to a soft moan.
“Knew I was right,” he says smugly into my hair. “So fucking soaked for me.” He goes deep one more time before slowly sliding along my soaked center and releasing me. His finger goes straight to his mouth, and a pulse takes hold between my legs as I watch him enjoy my taste.
“You’re evil,” I say, pressing my legs together to lessen the ache that I’m feeling now.
“Nah,” he chuckles. “I just really wanted a taste. I promise to make it up to you later. An evil person wouldn’t do that,” he grins.
He steps back, looking like he won the lottery, and I can’t help but chuckle at his playful demeanor.
“You owe me a lot of high notes for that one.” I smooth out my dress and try to compose myself to the best of my ability.
“You’ll hit those notes tonight. Multiple times,” he grins and takes my hand, leading us again to where his friend is cooking.
“I’m holding you to that,” I say under my breath.
“You do that,” he chuckles as we near the outdoor kitchen area.
Knox is standing at the grill, his broad shoulders filling out the navy blue t-shirt he’s wearing. His light brown hair is longer on top, with golden streaks woven in. He turns when he hears us approach. His bright blue eyes find mine before a slow smile appears, showing off perfect white teeth.
“So, this is the beautiful girl who has stolen my best friend’s heart. I can see why.” He crosses his arms across his chest and takes me in. I notice he has just as much ink as Miles on his arms, but it has a darker feel to it with all the sinister images.
“Knox, this is Olivia. Olivia, this is my soon-to-be ex-best friend if he doesn’t stop staring at you that way.”
Chuckling softly, Knox finally looks at Miles. “Well, this is a new side of you that I never thought I would see.”
“Surprised the hell out of me, too,” Miles says, smiling at me before turning back to his friend. “You should try it sometime. Might make you less of an ass.”
“No thanks,” he smirks, taking a sip of his long-neck beer. “I like things the way they are.”
“Olivia, you’re here!” Savi’s voice rings out, and she stops dead in her tracks when she sees us. Her eyes narrow to slits as she glares at the person next to us.
“Well, I did like the way things were going,” Knox mutters under his breath. I watch the two of them glare at each other, and if looks could kill, both of them would be on the ground.
“What the hell are you doing here?” Savi crosses her arms over her chest and angrily looks at him before sending daggers at Miles.
“Why didn’t you tell me your ass of a friend was coming to our house? This is one-fifth my house, so I should have a say on who is invited.”
“Well,four-fifthssays he can be here, so you’re outnumbered.”
“Good to see you too, sunshine,” Knox says with a wicked gleam in his eyes.
“Don’t call me that. You know how I hate it.”
