Her sly smile turned shy as she looked back down to Ben. She shifted in the chair, stood, and walked to me. “He’s done. You’re on burping duty.” Ellie shifted Ben in her arms, and I reached out to take him.
While Ellie bonded with the baby while feeding him, this was my time, and I treasured every moment of it.
Ellie backed up and looked at the two of us, her robe open so I got an eyeful of her gorgeous tits.
When she caught me staring at her chest, she reached for her robe, but I stopped her before she could cover herself up.
“Leave it. I like the view.” Wiggling my eyebrows, I reached for the coffee I had set down before Ellie handed Ben over.
She had grown more comfortable with me and her body over the last few months. After Ben was born, she covered herselfwith a blanket while she nursed him, even at home. But lately, she had forgone the blanket.
“I think you saw them enough last night,” she quipped, but she stepped closer.
“Baby, if you wandered around topless every day, and I spent all my time with my eyes glued to you, it still wouldn’t be enough.” I brushed my thumb over her nipple. The quick, breathy moan would have been easy to miss if she hadn’t been so close to me.
She blushed and took a step back. “I’m going to get ready. What time do we leave?” she asked as she walked out of the room.
“You know naked would be preferred, because this view is another one of my favorites,” I called after her.
She peeked back into the room. “Nice try. Focus, Gavin. Leaving. What time?”
“An hour and a half.” Ben burped, and my job was done. He had fallen back to sleep, so I laid him back down in his crib, then met my wife at the nursery door. “Plenty of time to have a little fun of our own.”
“Down, big fella. I have to shower and pack. Alone.” She walked to the bathroom and closed the door, but she didn’t flip the lock. I put my hand on the knob, but thought maybe she really did want privacy, so I turned to head back to our room to pack my bag.
“You coming or not?” My wife leaned against the doorframe, naked and with the biggest grin on her face.
She didn’t have to ask me twice; I spun around and followed her back to the shower.
An hour and a half later, after frantically packing, we made it out the door on time.
“This is your fault,” I said as we sat in our seats and waited for takeoff.
“Right. I had a plan, and you ruined it with all your dirty talk.” Her voice dropped to a whisper.
“I didn’t hear you complaining.” I slid my hand up her leg and rested it on her inner thigh. “You know we could still join the mile high club.”
“Gavin.” She whispered and shook her head. “Don’t you not think of anything else?”
“Well, when you’re not around I can, but damn baby, you’re hot and you’re mine.”
Just as I was about to attack her mouth, the flight attendant announced that we were ready for takeoff. “I will finish that thought later.”
“I’m sure you will.” She rolled her eyes and changed the subject. “I should nurse Ben so the takeoff doesn’t bother him.” Ellie unbuckled him and settled him on her lap.
I had managed to keep our location a secret. Not because she would be mad, but because I didn’t want her to worry about it. “Want me to tell you where we’re going?”
“Yes. You know I hate surprises.” Ellie never took her eyes off Ben.
“Montana.”
Her head shot up, and her mouth hung open. “Why?” She asked.
“Because I want to make new memories there. Good memories Only a handful of people know we are coming, and we will hide at the cabin, go hiking, enjoy our time with Ben.” This might not have been the best idea I had ever had, but the plan had already been set in motion. “It’s our place, Ellie. It’s where we met. I want it to be our escape from Texas when we need a break from the chaos of life.”
She nodded and smiled. “Okay. I trust you. I really am the luckiest woman alive.”
I leaned in and took the kiss that I had put off moments ago. Kissing this woman for the rest of my life was the only thing I ever needed.
