"You've ordered—"

"Yes, I've ordered it all. He'll go for tests as soon as I get the bleeding stopped." Cameron gently grabbed Jared's arm. "Let me help him."

Jared wanted to fight, but Cameron gave him a hard look. "You can stand right there and make sure I don't do anything wrong."

"I can—"

"No, you can't. You know that. We don't treat our own family." Cameron shook his head as he smiled at Orson. "How do you deal with him?"

"Tell me his injuries. All of them," Jared demanded.

One of the nurses raised a brow at them, but Jared ignored her. He needed to be sure that Orson was going to be okay.

"I'm about to stitch the gash on his head, then he's got a few minor cuts from glass fragments. I'll clean them up and send him down for a CT." Cameron focused on what he was doing.

Jared shook his head. "Why didn't anyone tell me?"

"You were with another patient and I was fine. It's just a cut," Orson told him.

Jared looked at all the blood that covered Orson's clothing, and while the doctor in him knew that head wounds bled a lot and the amount of blood didn't mean a thing, the protective man worried about his boyfriend was about to come undone. He stared down at Orson, seeing his pale face covered in blood and wanted to be sick. "You've given him something for pain?"

"Fuck, Jared, this isn't my first rodeo. Your boyfriend is fine." Cameron rolled his eyes as he continued working on Orson's head.

A loud gasp filled the room as one of the nurses stared at him.

"Shit, I'm sorry, Jared. I wasn't thinking." Cameron stopped what he was doing and looked back and forth at Jared and Orson. "I'm so sorry."

Jared's pulse raced at just being outted at work, but his concern for Orson was stronger than his fear of people knowing his sexuality. "It's fine, just make sure he's okay." With nothing more to lose, Jared reached for Orson's hand. "How did this happen?"

"A car crashed into the front of the gym. I was near the windows on the other side. A piece of equipment came flying at me. It's a mess. The front of the gym is destroyed." Jared licked his lips. "How's Tyler?"

"I don't know. Richard said he was getting x-rays."

"I was talking to him when it happened. He was telling me how much he loves the hutch you made him." Orson closed his eyes.

Jared glanced up at Cameron. "You done yet?"

"You want me to rush this?" Cameron snapped back.

"Hey, I'm okay. Stop worrying." Orson opened his eyes as he gave Jared's hand a squeeze. "It looks worse than it is."

"I'm pissed they didn't tell me." Jared glared at one of the nurses.

"You have a job to do, and I'm okay. If it was worse, I would have had them get you." Orson glanced over at Cameron. "I mentioned who I was to Cameron, but he remembered me from the other day."

Jealousy hit Jared. "He hasn't been flirting with you, has he?"

Cameron laughed. "I'd hope you know me better than that."

"You wanted to ask him out."

"That was before I knew he was with you, besides, I'm working. If I hit on someone, I at least wait until I'm off the clock."

Even through the blood smeared across his face, Jared could see Orson's blush at their words. "You're admitting him, right?"

"Not unless something shows up on the scans." Cameron stepped back.

"He should stay for a night to be sure—"
