“Don't mention it,” one of them says, handing me my phone.
“It was in your pocket, but I kinda destroyedyour leggings, so…”
“Right, well. I should probably get back. I'm the designated driver.” Before I embarrass myself any more than I already have, I turn and walk in the direction from which I came.
“We'll see you around, Little Viper. We’ll always find you.” I turn around, but they’ve vanished, hidden by the night.
Ghosts.
Gone but never forgotten, and all I have to show for tonight is their jacket…and their cum dripping from my body.
I switch on my phone, and a message pops up from River, sent about three minutes ago.
River Baby:
Hey, Bitch, where did you go? Anyways, I'm waiting by the car. It's locked, so let me know when you're on your way. Hope you got laid xx kk bye.
Me:
On my way, and, Bitch, you have nooo idea!
Pocketing my phone, I walk out into the clearing that backs onto the frat house. The hair on the back of my neck stands to attention. I look around, suddenly aware that I'm alone out here, when I see him.
Blake walks my way, and I immediately pick up the pace. I don't want to deal with this fucking asshole tonight. If he sees me like this, thoroughly fucked, I'll never hear the end of it. Even though he has no reason to talk.
“Vannah, wait up!” Agrh. I hate it when he fucking calls me that.
“What are you, a fucking toddler? My name is Savannah. I have nothing to say to you. We're over, Blake. Move on. Oh, wait, you already did. Tell Molly I said hi,” I spit out, picking up the pace, but he grabs my arm from behind, spinning me around to face him.
“Let go of me! You're fucking hurting me!”
“Shut the fuck up, you stupid bitch. I'm sick to fucking death of you whining and complaining about every little thing. You can fucking stand here and hear me out.” I go completely still.
My heart thumps heavily in my chest, and I try to clear my head, searching for a way to get out of this if it goes bad. He doesn't remove his hand from my upper arm. Instead, he squeezes tighter, staring down at me with the same expressionhe always does.
I'm realizing now that it's contempt that I see churning in his eyes, even if his features are hardly noticeable in the dark.
“You don't get to fucking break up with me, bitch. I fucking made you,” he shouts, and I curse myself for flinching. He's fucking out of his goddamn mind, because we weren't together long enough for him to make me come, let alone ‘make me’anything else.
“You're drunk, Blake. Let's just talk about this tomorrow, okay?” His eyes rake over my body, and I stiffen. His eyes grow wide and threatening, and I inwardly brace myself for whatever happens next.
“Who did you fuck, Savannah?!”
I don't say anything. I can't even think with him holding onto me like this. He raises his other arm and grabs my hair. My skull burns as he pulls my head back, then his other hand wraps around my throat. “Who. Did. You. Fuck?” he rages, emphasizing each word. He's acting like a total fucking crazy person right now.
He's never done anything like this before.
I could lie, I suppose. I could say that someone spilled their drink all over me, and I had to borrow someone else's clothes to wear home. Though mymakeup is probably all over the place, and it would be way too obvious that I was lying.
My heartbeat grows even more frantic as he tightens his grip on my throat.
“You're hurting me, Blake,p-please. Can we just talk about this tomorrow? I'm… I’m s-sorry, okay. I shouldn't have said that about Molly. Please, Blake. Just let me g-go,” I say through ragged breaths, and he smiles. All signs of the guy I thought I knew are gone, replaced with someone unhinged and unrecognizable.
“I’ll find out, Savannah, you know I will. And when I do, I'll kill your whore ass in front of them, because you weren't theirs to fuck. Do you hear me? Nobody wants you, Savannah. And the sooner you realize that I'm as good as you're gonna get, the easier life will be for you.”
